Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury[2] is a knight serving the Asgardian Royal Family's military during the paradox period where the 17th and 21st Centuries were merged. With his reality collapsing, Fury and his allies summoned Captain Carter in hopes of fixing the phenomenon. When Carter was labelled a fugitive by King Thor, he continued to secretly aid her and help the Avengers restore the timeline to normal.
