Very strong jazz fusion vibes from a jazz supergroup (circa 1978) that settle into a funky swampy dreamscape groove w/ DeJ’s deftness of touch & feel perpetually crisp & inventive while the others go above & beyond – especially Bowie’s Miles-isms.
      Superlative.

Has anything on ECM ever been re-mastered? Some brilliant music on that label, but I'm not sure I've ever seen any remasters released.

Top-five jazz recordings out of over 15,000 I own. 99.9% percentile.

The Grand Daddy of them all...The reigning champion as the all time Greatest Jazz Album in the history of the world!! #1 album out of my 10,000+ recordings. Gary Burton "Ring" is a very close second (more mellower, cerebral) (My opinion only not subject to interpretation). There is a 100% chance you would disagree anyways. I think one of the few times you would get 2 people to agree would be Miles Davis "Kind of Blue" LP (as that is one hell of an album).
