i dm'd david krumholtz and lied to him saying i already watched this before i actually did. i praised it because i was so excited about getting the dvd in a month. he left me on read and then i watched it and it was so so terrible and i live every day in fear that now he thinks i have bad movie taste. i will be seeing him in his play in a week and if i get a chance to meet him (if he replies to my dms tsk tsk! he now only opens them), i may have to confess all of this out of guilt and pride. i am terrified
UPDATE: i met david krumholtz and he knew me by instagram handle. one of the first things i said was "i lied. this movie was bad". he smiled and said, "oh. well i liked it". we are essentially best friends
Easily a new comfort movie. I've been sorting through my watchlist and this piqued my curiosity. I really love the feeling this film evoked, and I'm sure if I found it in high school that it would have altered my brain chemistry and I would have watched it every day for weeks on end.
watched for the second time and it was still a wild ride. natasha lyonne though what an actress, she’s fantastic in this what else is new
MY SUICIDAL SWEETHEART aka CRAZY FOR LOVE aka MAX AND GRACE , a film with three titles and none of them very good, is the kind of quirky Indie comedy I would have loved when I was 15. Back when my parents had just gotten a satellite and my internet was still dial up and any movie that was mildly interesting or unique seemed amazing as I had so little to compare. It was the DVD boom and Blockbuster shelves were just littered with this kind of thing. Movies that were a boy and girl's name that had posters with cartoon hearts! A pretty decent time.
I watched this as a newly minted Natasha Lyonne stan, which is probably the…
this was very funny but then tim blake nelson did redface and that was really so not ideal
a hot mess but fun nonetheless, can’t complain when you’ve got Natasha Lyonne, David Krumholtz, Lorraine Bracco, and freaking Karen Black !!
like if But I’m a Cheerleader was set in a mental institution instead of a conversion camp
So you’re telling me he met this girl in a mental hospital, made her go off her meds and snuck her out of the hospital, yet he still had the audacity to be shocked every time she tried to kill herself… like babe what did you expect?
