The campus is welcoming, with well-kept facilities that contribute to a safe and engaging learning atmosphere. Overall Mira Mesa is a very solid school. There is widespread ethnic and racial diversity that also propogates into a diverse culture. There's a decent academic culture, most people are about above average. The higher than average can make good schools, and the top can make the top schools. Always pushing students to continue for post-graduate options, and interconnected with Miramar Community College for easily accesible college classes. Wide range of extracurriculars, sports, and programs.
Great school with many courses available to take ranging from regular classes to AP and even college courses. We have great performing arts groups led by great instructors and a huge variety of sports including football, soccer, baseball, water polo, wrestling, lacrosse, and more. We have many clubs related to inclusivity, mutual interests, academics, and culture.
