Middleton came up limping after making contact with Pacers forward Pascal Siakam, causing him to briefly exit Tuesday's contest. However, it appears the veteran forward has avoided a serious injury and should be available for the remainder of Game 2.

Coach Doc Rivers said Tuesday that Antetokounmpo (calf) was able to get on the floor to put up shots and is getting closer a return, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
Antetokounmpo has already been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 2, marking his fifth straight absence due to a left calf strain. The Bucks were able to secure the victory in Game 1 over Indiana, which gives Antetokounmpo more time to return for Milwaukee's first-round series.

Antetokounmpo (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Pacers.
As expected, Antetokounmpo has been downgraded from doubtful to out while he continues to recover from a left soleus strain. Without their star player, the Bucks were able to win Game 1 behind a stellar first-half performance from Damian Lillard, affording Antetokounmpo some extra rest, but if Milwaukee drops Game 2 at home, there may be added pressure for the MVP candidate to return Friday, when the series shifts to Indiana for Game 3.

Antetokounmpo's left Soleus strain appears on track to keep him sidelined for Game 2, although Milwaukee can breathe a huge sigh of relief after controlling Game 1 at home. Antetokounmpo suffering a calf-related setback would be a worst-case scenario for the Bucks, so proceeding with caution appears likely, but his status will still need to be monitored until he is officially ruled out.

Portis posted 15 points (7-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist across 31 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 109-94 victory over the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
Portis remained in the starting lineup for Game 1, filling the vacant spot left by Giannis Antetkounmpo (calf). While he is certainly not a like-for-like replacement, Portis is more than capable of producing, especially on the offensive end. With Antetokounmpo likely to miss at least another game, Portis should continue to serve as the second or third option on offense for the time being.

After Damian Lillard took over in the first half, it was Middleton who made several clutch shots to secure the victory. Milwaukee will need him to maintain his aggression as they look to negate the loss of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf).

Lillard finished with 35 points (11-24 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds and three assists in 38 minutes during Sunday's 109-94 victory over Indiana in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
Lillard scored all of his team-high 35 points in the first half, the most ever through two quarters by a Bucks player in playoff history. Although he failed to score in the second half, the damage was done, leading his team to an emphatic Game 1 victory. With Giannis Antetokounmpo likely to miss at least another game, Lillard will need to come out firing again Tuesday if the Bucks are to secure a 2-0 series lead.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported on NBA Countdown that Antetokounmpo (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's Game 1 against Indiana.
Antetokounmpo had previously been listed as doubtful, so the 29-year-old being downgraded to unavailable is the expected outcome as he continues nursing a left calf strain. Antetokounmpo's situation is precarious because of the interconnected nature of the calf muscle and Achilles tendon, but his status moving forward could be partially dictated by how Milwaukee fares on a game-to-game basis. Game 2 is set for Tuesday night.
