Michael Breslin Obituary

Michael John Breslin, 39, of Erie, CO passed away from health complications on April 22, 2021. Michael was born in Boulder, CO on January 8, 1982 to John and Elaine Breslin. Michael earned a B.S. degree before starting a career at Boulder Valley Automotive. Kate and Michael met in 2010 and were married on June 7, 2019. Michael was the youngest of 7 siblings and was cherished deeply by all of them. Michael had a special charisma and always brought a smile to our faces with his hysterical humor. One always knew that a good time would be had in his" life of the party" presence. Michael had incredible compassion and empathy for others. He stood strong for equality and justice for all. The day he met his wife, Kate, was one of his biggest blessings. Kate gave Mike unconditional love, a best friend with an appreciation for his sense of humor and made him a father of twins. The day that Alex & Brooke started calling him Dad was by far the best day of his life. He loved his wife, children, & family with his whole entire being. Michael is survived by his parents, John and Elaine Breslin; wife, Kate Breslin; children, Brooke and Alex Salyards; siblings, Sharyn Breslin, Eric Breslin (Marisa), Jason Breslin and Shawn Breslin (Nancy Lopez), Megan Micheli (Adam), the McGill family, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Kevin Breslin. Visitation and recitation of the Rosary will be on Sunday, April 25 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood and Myers Mortuary. The funeral Mass will be Monday, April 26 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Following Mass there will be a reception at church. Burial will be at Green Mountain Cemetery.
