We stayed in the hotel Hilton next to this establishment. It is a huge area, located a bit remotely from the city centre, but it is quiet. The design is pretty simplistic and the area is missing trees and green area. In the vicinity it is a huge shopping mall. So if you are here in a conference, you can have the hotel and shopping combined, not even have to move out from the area. The City tour bus has a stop exactly in the front of the main entrances of Messe, so you can buy the tour bus card per one day, do a city tour, visit the centre and come back here.

This is a rather unique building.
Its pencil-like shape is somehow interesting, but at the end of the day, it's just another skyscraper.
The building is especially beautiful at dusk and after dark.

Messeturm is a skyscraper in Frankfurt designed by the architure firm Murphy-Jahn. It was built in around 1990 and is one of Europe's tallest buildings.
I wasn't very impressed by the design which is a regular tall building design. It's not worth taking time to go see it unless you're there and passing by.

The MesseTurm in Frankfurt used to be Europe's highest building. And it shows, since this was built in the 80s and on the inside it is clear that during that time height was the only goal. Frankly, the office areas are extremely small and cramped on the outside part of the building with what seems to be a lot of space lost to the inner infrastructure of the tower.
The outside is very interesting with the red shell, a clear revival of Art Decó building in New York or other US cities, topped by a pyramidal building that glows at night. Try to get there when Frankfurt offers its famous Skyscraper tours!

The Messe Turm is one of the most known towers in Frankfurt and probably one of the most visited. It is one that hosts offices and is also a symbol for the exhibition centre in Frankfurt.

This awesome skyscraper is a private building and houses just offices so there's no observation area to be able to see any part of the city. However, just viewing this wonderful building from below is well worth the visit with it's elegant lines, massive windows and exquisite pointed rooftop.

The affectionately tower renamed by the locals as "The Pencil" is definitely not only a symbol for the world wide famous exhibition centre, but also one of the city skyline symbols.

I stayed nearby, as my flight was canceled. Not sure why this is considered special. Looked nice in the early morning. But I don’t think I would go out of my way to see it.

The Frankfurt skyline is justifiably famous for its amazing skyscrapers and the Messeturm is one of the most famous.
Known as the Fair Trade Tower ,it's Frankfurts 2nd tallest building at 63 floors and 257 metres high it's very hard to miss and is distinguished by its pointed summit.
Built between 1988 and 1990 this building looks superb and when illuminated at night looks very eye catching.
Very easy to find on Friedrich Ebert Anlage and well worth checking out.
