What travelers are saying
- Petra HMelbourne, Australia5 contributionsIt was an excellent guided tour. The two guides made it a fun way to learn about trees, plants and seeds. We toured the Royal Botanic Gardens following a map and the guides. It was very interactive and there were good hand outs. A thoroughly enjoyable event.Written April 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alice G7 contributionsA fantastic experience! We visited the MCG and toured the ground with our excellent guide Graeme. Graeme was helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic about the MCG and found we learnt a lot about the grounds history. The ticket was reasonably priced with entry to the sports museum included which was great for young children. We fully enjoyed our time at the MCGWritten October 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ian DCaterham, UK12 contributionsA small tram so not a lot of space in busy periods. Good information as you travel around the centre in what is effectively a circle. It can take just over an hour to do the full route. The only drawback is the train only operates in one direction. That said, on one day, there were some protests so they had the train operating the opposite way round to the way it normally goes. What is excellent is that all trams operating within the central area, not just this one, (city maps indicate what this covers) are free.Written April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SuePBrisbane, Australia16 contributionsSurprising! It’s been 30 years since I visited and the visitor’s centre is fantastic as I never was able to go inside the memorial before ! Make sure you go to the visitor’s centre lots of interesting artefacts and the draw card is the view from the balcony !Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stuey MPerth, Australia49 contributionsThis place has definitely improved since covid - I didn’t enjoy it much on our last trip, but a few years later and I felt it has become what it once was. I notice there is some further refurbishment/construction occurring so looking forward to another visit one day soon.

Sitting in our plush red "egg shell" pod chairs we settled in for out 15 minute journey through 16 iconic Melbourne locations.
Awesome experience and we were advised to do this event first before enjoying our cocktails which was taken onboard & thank goodness.
We enjoyed our cocktails at Bar 88 whilst admiring the scenery of Melbourne city and beyond.
The time you spend at the highest observation deck in the southern hemisphere is initially dependent on your own itinerary. The weather gods were on our side so we were in no hurry to leave. ( also it was not crowded)
We enjoyed the 360 degree views of our city and would recommend this experience.Written February 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The selection of art is wide and we were lucky enough to be there to see the special exhibition My Country.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Juliet HReading, UK427 contributionsThis museum is very large and it's best not to try to see everything in one visit. We went to the Bunjilaka exhibition which gave us excellent information on Aboriginal culture.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stacey ODallas, TX18 contributionsMelbourne Zoo is one of the nicest we’ve ever visited. It’s clean and well thought out. The animals appeared to be very well cared for and their habitats designed so they can be out if/when they choose. Unfortunately, the platypus wasn’t up for visitors the day we visited so we left Australia without ever getting to see one. 😭Written January 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
