Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry made a rare public appearance to attend the 2023 Women of Vision Awards in New York City on Tuesday night.

Meghan, who is among the evening’s honorees, delivered her boldest fashion statement yet by wearing a strapless Johanna Ortiz dress in a metallic gold hue. The gorgeous piece included a tiny diamond-shaped keyhole cutout and a center leg slit. She coordinated her accessories with the palette, opting for strappy gold Tom Ford heels, a small gold clutch from Carolina Herrera, gold J.Crew earrings, and a stack of gold and diamond bracelets.

Meanwhile, Harry supported his wife in a classic midnight-blue suit paired with a white button-up, a light blue tie, and black dress shoes. Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, also showed up to the ceremony, wearing a black minidress with pleated sheer bishop sleeves and sophisticated slingback pumps.

The Ms. Foundation for Women announced in April that Meghan would be one of the honorees at the event. According to a press release, the duchess has been recognized specifically for “her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls.”

During the ceremony, held at New York City’s Ziegfeld Ballroom, iconic feminist and activist Gloria Steinem presented the award to Meghan.

In her acceptance speech, Meghan reflected on the impact that Ms. Foundation for Women had on her life. "When I reflect on the time in my life, when I was young, the imprints that were etched in my mind, I can now connect the dots in a much better way to understand how I became a young feminist and evolved into a grown activist," she said, per People.
