‘Meet Cute’ Movie: Everything We Know About Pete Davidson and Kaley Cuoco’s New Rom-Com

You can never go wrong with a romantic comedy, especially one with a twist. On Tuesday (Aug. 16), Peacock dropped first-look photos at Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson’s upcoming movie, Meet Cute, where they play love interests — a duo we didn’t know we needed, but are so excited to watch.

Directed by Alex Lehmann, Meet Cute features the Flight Attendant star and the SNL alum as Sheila and Gary, respectively, who are two people that seemingly fall in love at first sight. Although, not everything is what it seems. Hint: it involves a time machine.

Regarding the movie, Lehmann said, “If I had a time machine right now I’d be torn. Do I skip ahead to our release date or do I go back and relive the joy it was making this film? Lucky for me it’s a decision I don’t get to make,” per a press release.

What is Meet Cute about?

Sheila and Gary are two people who appear to fall in love at first sight. But things take a turn when we realize it isn’t fate after all as Sheila had been using a time machine to go back in time to make them fall in love over and over again. When “the perfect night is never quite enough,” the leading lady travels to Gary’s past to make him the perfect man.

Is there a trailer for Meet Cute?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a trailer just yet. But since the movie is slated to premiere in just over a month, we hopefully won’t be waiting long until there is one.

When does Meet Cute come out?

Meet Cute is dropping on Peacock on Sept. 21, just in time to cure those post-summer blues. In the meantime, check out the first-look photos below.
