Maud is a 10 year old female Cross-Breed. She sadly came to us from the pound after she was left unclaimed. Poor little girl was a mess on arrival, a heavily matted coat, bad ears, overgrown nails and a rotten mouth, and that was just for starters!

We booked her in to see the vet straight away and it was lucky we did as she had a Pyometra (womb infection) that almost certainly would have killed her had she waited any longer! Once her vet work was all done she transformed! Maud is a beautiful little lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new family.
She is advancing in years, she is still a typical cheeky little Westie that will happily give me a nudge when she wants something or a little tap with her paw! Maud adores people and we feel her ideal home would be with a single person, we will consider other options of course, however she seems happiest when she is around her person.
Maud is neutered, microchipped, de flea and wormed, She has also had a dental. She is house trained walks well on the lead, is non-destructive and can be left for short periods. Maud loves her home comforts and a cuddle, if she could get in your pocket she would, she will happily spend most of her day sat with you, if you are her chosen human of course she also likes to sleep on the bed! Maud travels very well in the car.
Whoever adopts this little lady will be very lucky indeed as she really has the most amazing well-adjusted nature once she knows and trusts you! We think Maud would enjoy the quiet life with an older person or couple who she can snuggle up with, or equally a single person that would love a companion.
Maud is fine with other dogs but we feel her forever home would be best if she was the only dog, in her advancing year,s we don’t think she should need to share. She is also fine with cats.
We don’t think Maud can hear much now, but she is happy to potter along with her human for light walks, and she will always stay close, and always finds the food! Can you offer this lovely lady the home she so desperately deserves? She needs someone to love her in her golden years, could that be you?
