Marie Osmond has gotten to the point in her career where talk of a biopic in honor of her life and achievements is palatable. The multi-talented media personality even has a name for who she thinks would be best suited to play her in a big screen memoir: Selena Gomez.

Osmond’s accomplishments in showbiz span multiple disciplines, as she boasts a track record in music as well as a number of acting roles in various movies. Mostly, she is known for her work co-hosting Donny & Marie in the ‘70s and, more recently, as part of the panel on CBS’ The Talk.

Osmond left the show after only one season in September 2020, with speculation rife that she fell out with fellow host Sharon Osbourne. It was alleged that the longer-serving co-host got her newer colleague fired, claims that Osbourne vehemently denied.
