Matthew Roth is an American actor. He had a recurring role on Roseanne as Jackie's abusive boyfriend, Fisher from 1992-1993. He portrayed the role of Art Shepherd in Season 3 of Desperate Housewives.

Roth fell in love with his Roseanne costar, Laurie Metcalf, and by November 1993, they had a son named Will. They eventually married, and also work together on occasion, as in the 1994 feature film thriller Blink, the 1998 drama Chicago Cab or the episode Bang of the Season 3 of Desperate Housewives. In September 2011, Roth filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
