Overall a great experience, lovely pub, good food and drinks. The 15% service charge felt a bit steep as I prefer to leave a cash tip.

Had a meal in the upstairs dining room, great food, atmosphere and service. The downstairs bar was particularly busy and loud so would be warned if you’re booked in there for a meal as you don’t hear yourselves speak. Upstairs had a great feel to it, light, airy, relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. Amazing haddock and chips!

The toasts that came with the beef tartar were extremely hard and burnt at the crust. Really disappointed that we were not able to fully enjoy the bread as impossible to eat most of it.

Average food that’s overpriced in our opinion. Nice staff, slightly slow (because busy) service. Think you can find a better gastro pub experiences in London for the money. Probably wouldn’t rush back.

We started with the warm sourdough bread and butter, it was delicious, however it would have been nice if our drinks had arrived before the food. Drinks were delicious. Roast dinners were substantial and extremely tasty, unfortunately we had no room for pudding. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

Very good meal. Restaurant busy for a Tuesday night. Food and drink pricey, but on a par for most restaurants in the Marylebone area and on a par with other Cubitt House pub restaurants.

I like the pub. I’ve stayed there. I go to The Orange too and have also stayed overnight. But on Sunday the full English breakfast food was overcooked and dry. Still edible, but poor. Moreover I took particular affront at being charged an automatic “climate change donation” on the bill separate to the mandatory 15% tip. What a cheek. I had it deducted. Not a good look imo; an intrusive and unwanted attempt to squeeze money for nothing out of the customer - there was no explanation of the purpose for the charge nor how it would be used. Extremely poor virtue signalling from Cubitt House.

The star of the show was our waiter , he made the whole experience wonderful. He was efficient, funny, helpful and made our evening much smoother despite of large size of table! We will be back . The food was very good too and the Gin tonic excellent as usual

The Sunday Roast was no where as good as it has been in the past. I had roast chicken and it was very dry. Another friend had lamb and it was sinewy & tough. Some of the beef was overdone. Very disappointing as we had recommended to our friends to go therefor the Sunday roast. Also the roast veg was quite dried out.

We've been a few times before but the food was particularly good this time. The steak and ale pie was amazing, and the vegetable side dishes were interesting and delicious. We were really impressed with the range of non alcoholic cocktails and drinks too

Very nice Sunday lunch downstairs in the bar. Good atmosphere and tasty food with the exception of the roast potatoes which were a little cold. We had a really excellent, helpful and friendly waitress who took care of us.

Highly attentive service for a gastro pub environment, but a few things could be better. My colleague chose the burger for his main course, but the patty was quite dry and overcooked. He was not offered a choice of cooking style at the point of ordering the burger. Whilst I appreciate that the venue is shared pub & restaurant, the bathrooms were quite messy with a broken toilet seat, so I would expect better presentation at this price bracket.
