The innaugal Mannan/O’Connor lecture series was started on January 2023. We have a series of distinguished speakers presenting on various aspects of Process Safety. The lectures will be held in JEB 256 from 3 to 4PM every Thursday.

Our mission is to lead the integration of process safety – through education, research, and service – into learning and practice of all individuals and organizations.
Our programs and research activities enhance safety in the process industries. Our educational activities are aimed at making safety second nature to everyone in the industry. In addition, we develop safer processes, equipment, procedures and management strategies to minimize losses.
