Mary (Cole) Bartley was born in England.

Mary Charlotte Cole, the daughter of Henry Cole and Marian Bond was born in 1841 in Kensington, London.^[1] Mary married George Charles Trout Bartley on 5 January 1864. Based on census records, George and Mary had five children:^[2]

1. George Henry Cole Bartley (b. 16 Sep 1864, Ealing Middlesex) m. Kate Sheyrer (b. 1870 to George Dec. Sheryer)
2. Lilian Cole Bartley (b. 1867, Ealing, Middlesex)
