Marlborough Miles 2024

This week ended on a high as pupils, beaks and parents all took part in the “Marlborough Miles”, a challenge to walk or run around the mile as many times as possible to raise money for charity. It is always a well-supported event as the MCM community rallies together to celebrate the Sultan of Johor’s birthday.

This year, all money raised will go towards the Tunku Lasamana Johor Cancer Foundation. A charity that supports cancer patients and their families with the cost of medicine and builds healthcare facilities. Money was raised through collection buckets and the CAS Team, who organised sales and games across the afternoon by selling cold drinks and cancer support ribbons, organising a wet sponge contest and having pupils in fancy dress along the route, encouraging those taking part. This is a whole college event and it was fantastic to see everyone come together and raise over 10,000MYR  for the Tunka Lasmana Johor Cancer Foundation.  Marlborough Miles is a wonderful, rich tradition that sees pupils come together, celebrate the Sultan’s birthday, raise money for a great cause and challenge themselves.
