Nobility. Only child and heiress of Wilhelm VIII Duke of Jülich and Berg and his second wife Sibylle von Brandenburg. She married Johann III von Kleve in 1510 and bore him four children. After her fathers death Johann united the Duchies of Jülich, Kleve and Berg and the county of Ravensberg and became the most powerful noble man in Western Germany. First buried in the Carthusian monastery on the Grav island she was removed and reburied in 1590 in the Dominican church.
