Research Notes
With a marriage dated 26 Jun 1509, one can infer her bith prior to 26 Jun 1497. Her parents were married 21 Feb 1490/1491 placing her birth after 7 Nov 1491.
Complete Peerage names her 'Margaret or Mary'[1] and given the duplication of names noted in Scots Peerage[2] it might well have been 'Mary' in spite of the irrufutable evidence for the name 'Margaret' in the contract of marriage.[4]
