Marriage & Children

She and James IV Stewart, King of Scotland obtained a marriage license on 28 July 1500; Date of Dispensation.[1][2] Margaret Tudor married James IV Stewart, King of Scotland, son of James III Stewart, King of Scotland and Margareta of Denmark, on 8 August 1503 at Holyrood Abbey Church, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. They had 5 sons & 1 daughter, including:[1][2][3][4][5][6]

She married, secondly, Sir Archibald Douglas, 6th Earl of Angus, High Chancellor of Scotland, son of George Douglas, Master of Angus and Elizabeth Drummond, on 6 August 1514 at Chapel of Kinnoull, Kinnoull, Perthshire, Scotland. They had 1 daughter:[1][2][3][4][5]

Margaret Tudor died on 18 October 1541 at Methven Castle, Perthshire, Scotland, at age 51; Buried in the Carthusian Monastery of St. John at Perth, Perthshire, Scotland.[1][2][3]
