Margaret Stuart of Moidart was born in 1150, in Moidart, Inverness-shire, Scotland as the daughter of Muchdanach of Moidart and Mrs Muchdanach of Moidart. She married Dubgall Mac Somairle King of the Isles about 1162, in Argyll, Scotland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She died in 1207, in her hometown, at the age of 57, and was buried in Scotland.
