Margaret Jane Stuart Worrell

Margaret went to live with her Lord and Savior on December 10, 2021 at Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine, Fl, surrounded by her family. She had lived the last 5 1/2 years at St. Augustine Health and Rehabilitation Center where she received much love and compassionate care. Margaret was born in Leeds, Missouri on December 23, 1932 to Arvel and Georgia Stuart, but moved to Florida as a child. In 1951, she graduated from Seacrest High School in Delray Beach, Florida. She married Arthur Clyde Worrell on March 8, 1951 where they made a life in Boynton Beach and raised their family. They were active in their community until 2003 when they moved to Alachua, Fl, then to St. Augustine in 2006. She and her husband were members of Anastasia Baptist Church. She spent many hours volunteering at Ketterlinus Elementary School in St. Augustine. She was a homemaker and loved her family deeply. She is survived by her children Leslie Jurney, Paul Worrell (Lori), Suzanne Fraser (John), Niece Cindy Shea (Brian); Nephew Darren Stuart (Rachelle); seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Clyde and infant son Craig Lawrence. A private memorial will be held in January 2022.
