Lea Michele is an American actor, musician, writer, and novelist. She was born on August 29, 1986. She made her Broadway acting debut in the productions of Les Misérables (1995–1996), Ragtime (1997–1999), Fiddler on the Roof (2004–2005), and Spring Awakening (2006–2008) as a young child actress.
Michele originally rose to fame playing Rachel Berry on the Fox television series Glee (2009–2015), for which she received two Golden Globe nominations, four People’s Choice Awards, three Teen Choice Awards, and a Satellite Award nominations. She was also nominated for an Emmy.
