BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — The search is on for Bedford County Public Schools new superintendent after Dr. Marc Bergin announced he will be leaving at the end of the year.
The school said they have listened to input from community members, parents, and school staff to hear what characteristics they hope to see in the new leader.

Among the many requirements, the school is looking for an honest and strong communicator, with leadership experience, the ability to address behavioral issues, and work well with the community.
The application deadline is April 30.
