Rating 3.5 out of 5 436 reviews
Ever since I've entered manual for the first time, I've always had some type of an idea of how my experience would be like since my older brother attended it as well. Manual has been an essential part of my growth and an essential part of shaping who I am and what to pursue. The best parts about attending manual has been the resources provided to us such as the gear up college center aimed to help us prepare for college. The friends I've made and the memories have been the best part about attending manual. The worst parts about it is that since its just a high school it can feel really constricted to just this area. A lot of people don't get the chance to really dream big just because of where they are and that's me as well. We don't really offer much creative classes aimed to teach students about passions they might find interesting. What I would change is the overall experience of the school making It more lively and welcoming and to fund more of the important programs on campus.
Manual arts is a wonderful school to attend something I love about manual arts would definitely be the connections and the community and teachers. Manual arts is really like a small town family. Manual arts is a smaller not really typical like the other high school’s. The diversity is not as much but we all get along. Manual has a lot of images on the wall on the field. We don’t have a track but we will be getting lights soon for night games . At manual arts I would like to see much school prep rally’s more support for games a track and nice field
Manual Arts is one of those schools that'll find your place in. Manual Art High School is an extremely underrated high school in South Los Angeles, from fine arts to science. Located near the University of Southern California, Manual has various activities to participate including choir, band, JROTC, athletic sports, and college prep programs such as Upward Bound, USC TRIO programs, and GearUpLA. Although the campus is over a decade old, there is loads of pride here in Manual Arts. Students here are extremely competitive in whatever activities they commit themself to. Recently, Manual Arts sports teams football and volleyball just won their leagues and going to play in national playoffs for this season. Manual Arts is a great high school where you'll find who you want to be.
