What travelers are saying
- Mike CLeicester, UK42 contributionsA gem of a museum with wide ranging art from Early European to Constable to Van Gogh to Monet to modern.
The restaurant is lovely with a curated range that dealt with vegetarians, those with a food intolerance and a light or full meal.Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark PSwampscott, MA2,572 contributionsThe tour of the Zimmerman House and the nearby Kalil House-both designed by Frank Lloyd Wright-is arranged through the Currier. For anybody interested in architecture or Mid-Century Modern design, this is a must see tour.
An added plus: The docents were quite good.Written June 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Linda D1 contributionWent to see Dickens’ Christmas Carol at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH. It was a sold out show and was extremely well done. I was impressed by the acoustics, and the set design and acting were well done. We sat in the second to last row in the center balcony. Had I known better, we would have purchased seats in the last row of the balcony; the last row has more leg room than any of the other rows in the balcony. I’m 5’8” and my son who also came along is 6’1”. They did not make the rows deep enough for anyone over 5’5” when the balcony was renovated some years ago. Both my son and I had to sit with our knees spread apart with one on each side of the seat in front of us and it was still very uncomfortable! Absolutely no leg room for normal sized adults! We couldn’t wait till intermission so we could stand up and stretch our legs. Next time we will sit in the last row of the balcony or somewhere in the orchestra seats.Written December 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Golda5 contributionsGreat little stop. A couple exhibits were broken but most were great. My 9 year old loved it. Cute spot, found a restaurant within 10 minute walk to eat lunch at afterwards.Written April 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MmutsyMaryland220 contributionsWinter,Spring Summer and Fall the lake is always beautiful...October of 2022 I again visited Lake Massabesic and the foliage did not disappoint. It's a wonderful venue for photographers and yes the Goldenrod down the street is a great place for seafood. - Jason WWells, ME174 contributionsRecently took my nephew to the Hollywood Vampires show. Nice venue with plenty of connection to food and drink throughout. We parked at the Red Oak parking garage, and it was only about a 7-minute walk. We also paid extra for the Sam Addams VIP lounge and the only downside was it was located in the back of the arena. Had it been in any of the skyboxes just to the left or right of the stage it would have been perfect and well worth the extra money. We only sat up there for food and drinks during the opening act.Written September 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maddie C1 contributionIf you live in New England you have to go here! The prices are reasonable and the parking is $10. If you want to take young kids they have a play area and other kid friendly attractions. If you don’t have kids you can still enjoy the game and the park. They also have fun promotions like Star Wars night or being renamed the Manchester Chicken Tenders for the day. The players are also friendly and signed autographs and took pictures with fans.Written December 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeff MMonroe, NY137 contributionsIf you or anyone in your family has any experience with the BSA, you must stop by to check this out. Great collection including uniforms, handbooks, gear and lots and lots of patched. A number of items that are from Baden-Powell himself as well as the founders of the BSA. We were given a tour of the collection by one of the volunteers whi amde sure to point out all od the highlights. Located in a beautiful scout camp. Be sure to read the directions on the website since it's hard to find by GPS alone.Written July 28, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Slice S56 contributionsAttended 10:30am Mass with family (young adults). Beautiful cathedral, beautifully decorated for the season. Music and choir were exceptional! Lovely Mass, very traditional with several officiants in attendance. Young families and extended families in attendance too. It was a holy, reverent and yet warm, welcoming worship experience.Written December 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CCgoshenGoshen, CT82 contributionsThe beer was good! The food was great! This was our reward for our "#2100 GC Birthday Adventure". Was definitely worth it, although the music was a bit out of our preference.Written March 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
