life if finals weren’t purposefully confusing and unclear to make students mess up and lower the average
i am SICK!!!! of it. WHY DO THEY NEVER TEST US ON WHAT WE KNOW!! STOP TESTING MY READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS
society if O'Neal and Spikes lost their tenure
wait how did you know i was talking abt 204 and 205 🤯🤯🤯
I have suffered as you have a few years ago. It appears they have not changed and are the same soulless husks filled with nothing but malice and contempt for their students.
yes lol i was being sarcastic- they are literally so awful with their tests 😭 they have a legacy fr fr
Not even just that. Spikes specifically is so condescending towards students and her own TAs and will straight up berate people during class.
She's actively known not to answer simple questions in class, telling students to go to office hours instead.
She acts so high and mighty and for what? What has she contributed in the past decade. The abysmal averages in her classes show she's a shit teacher and course instructor.
The fact that she hasn't put out any new completed or ongoing research papers in over a decade shows that she's probably a shit researcher too.
It's wild that someone can suck so hard at their job and keep it for so long.
Biology (regrettably) is so real.
is this about that fucking bio 205 exam
no, i actually really enjoyed the fact that the exam had almost nothing to do with anything that we actually learned ❤️
no wasn’t it so awesome 🤩🤩 i loved how the questions deliberately used examples not from the class content so even if you understood the principles of the topic you would still get the question wrong 🤩🤩🤩
I remember when I took the final for bio 204 a few years ago, I had a suitmate that was going into teaching. He looked at my exam and said if he ever turned in a mock exam like this he would fail horribly.
That one also had a “what is this organ question” With a black and white picture of a rat that was absolutely nuked.
Yeah that was on last years exam too iirc
WHY DO THEY NEVER LEARN 😭
Sounds about right. The amount of times I just underlines part of a question and wrote “???” on that exam…
See the reading comprehension wouldn’t be a problem if they didn’t give us such a monstrous amount of information. Like everything is so arbitrary, full of minuscule, minute details that everything just gets lost in a giant jumble of info. Then they want me to apply those 100 pages of notes worth into questions that try to twist your brain and dig deep into the depths of my past 21 years of thoughts. It’s like huh??
i immediately knew this was about 204 lmao
society if Spikes didnt purposefully make the averages low just to ruin our lives
