This is marvel of renaissance and baroque architecture. It is way 2 touristic but beautiful. Although the restaurants around the area are expensive, you can buy food from stands and pizzerias in the area and have a snack for a reasonable price. Many of the churches don't charge to get so you can enter enjoy the architecture and paintings that, in the interior, are mostly from the baroque period.

To the left of the cemetery, before you enter the main gates, there is row after row of graves for all of the soldiers lost during the war. We witnessed mourners of all ages, grieving for lost sons, husbands, fathers. It was one of the most moving experiences of my life and brought me very close to tears.

The actual cemetery itself is in some respects more like a public park. There are many graves, including of religious figures, but the actual site is very walkable and there are some interesting monuments to see throughout the site.

This is a magnificent church open to the public. Since it is near the center of Lviv, one should not miss it when visiting Lviv. It is usually called St. George's Cathedral in English.

We attended a beautiful New Year's Eve concert that combined orchestral pieces, ballet and opera. There was no dialogue so it was easy to enjoy as English speakers since everything was conveyed musically or through movement. The opera itself it stunning and they even gave out masquerade masks to visitors and shot confetti. A very unique experience!

Something like 350 steps (not including the walk to the 4th floor where the entrance to the tower is) on a sometimes narrow wooden staircase. Great views of Lviv once you get to the top, though kids may have a hard time seeing over the top of the wall. Beware the bell chiming every quarter hour, but be sure not to miss the view of the clock workings on the way up/down. 50 uah, seems open every day. I imagine it can get busy, even on a Sunday morning there was a school group.

Typical Armenian Church. If you like religious tourism then this is a good place to visit. There is no entry fee.

Accidentally found this place by walking the street, but the experience inside was special.
Old Gentleman's club, now a museum, with a long history, is one of the places in Lviv worth visiting.
You would not be sorry visiting this wooden decorated building. Take your chance to visit. This building can compare to the best European tourist sports.
