How Prince George's wicked one-liner to fellow pupils echoes Prince William's headstrong school persona

Prince George may be one of the cutest future Kings we've ever seen, but that doesn't mean you should underestimate his no-nonsense nature.
The royal nine-year-old reportedly had strong words for his fellow students at Thomas's Battersea, after becoming embroiled in a playground spat.
In her 2022 book, The New Royals, Katie Nicholl explains that George is fully aware of his destiny to rule – so much so, that he has apparently used it as a trump card during disputes.
According to the Vanity Fair royal editor, Prince William and Kate Middleton have already informed the eldest Wales child that he will one day inherit the throne and become the Head of State, Head of the Nation and Head of the Church of England.
"They are raising their children, particularly Prince George, with an awareness of who he is and the role he will inherit, but they are keen not to weigh them down with a sense of duty," she explains.
It appears they're also keen not to filter their children's statements too much – at least, for the time being.

"George understands he will one day be king and as a little boy sparred with friends at school, outdoing his peers with the killer line: "My dad will be king so you better watch out," Nicholl writes.
The alleged comment sounds notably similar to one made by William during his own school days – albeit, a little less hostile.
"He [William] was given the nickname ‘Basher’ [at school] and once threatened a classmate he obviously didn’t like with the words: 'I will send my knights to kill you when I am king,'" Angela Levin wrote in her 2018 biography, Harry: Conversations with a Prince.
It's understood that the Prince of Wales made the ominous statement at Ludgrove School in Wokingham, where he received his primary education before moving on to the prestigious Eton College.
It remains unclear how frequently Prince George delivered his warning, but by the sounds of it, it wasn't an isolated incident. The harsh words likely earned him a formidable reputation at Thomas's Battersea, where he attended between 2017 and 2022.
George recently moved to Lambrook School in Windsor with his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, following his parents' decision to leave Kensington Palace in London for a new life in the Berkshire countryside.
The family-of-five are now residing at Adelaide Cottage, where they hope to have more privacy away from the attention of the UK media.
Kate Middleton shared an update on George and Charlotte's adjustment to their new school shortly after the Queen's death, telling royal fans that the children have 'settled in well' during a walkabout at Sandringham House.
