Anastazja Barnimówna Gryfita was born about 1240 as the daughter of Barnim "Dobry" Gryfita Pomorski I. She married Heinrich I "der Pilger" von Mecklenburg in 1259. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 15 March 1317, in Ribnitz, Ribnitz-Damgarten, Nordvorpommern, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, at the age of 78, and was buried in Wismar, Salzwedel, Saxony, Germany.
