'Marie Anne de Bourbon, Légitimée de France (2 October 1666 – 3 May 1739) was the eldest legitimised daughter of Louis XIV of France an his mistress Louise de La Vallière. She married Louis Armand de Bourbon, Prince of Conti in 1680 but the couple had no children. Marie Anne was considered King Louis XIV's most beautiful daughter as well as his favourite daughter. Prior to her marriage she was styled as "Mademoiselle de Blois". She was also the Duchess of La Vallière in her own right. She died of a Brain tumor|brain tumour]] an was buried in the Church of Saint-Roch in Paris. Her younger half-sister Marie Françoise de Bourbon (a daughter of the King an Madame de Montespan) was also styled as Mademoiselle de Blois till her marriage to Philippe d'Orléans, Duke of Chartres. Following the engagement of Louis XV to Infanta Mariana Victoria the young infanta was place in the care of the Dowager Princess.
