Pros
I loved working as a healthcare QDS with Nuance. The company paid well and offered incentive bonuses. I also felt like my team was well rounded while under Nuance compared to other companies.
Cons
My role was contracted out to a new vendor twice between 2023-2024. Which has several members of the team concerned for job security.

Pros
1. Could be a good opportunity to get into the Enterprise Solutions industry. 2. It's a paycheck.
Cons
1. Really low pay - The pay was really low compared to the rest of industry. I accepted the offer because I thought having this experience on my resume could be a boost to my career. 2. Long hours - During the interview I was told that I would have to work some overtime hours. I mistaken assumed it would be during month-closes. But it turned out to be 10-hour workdays with some Saturdays. 3. Little to no training - When I first started, my team was very busy and didn't have time to meet with me. Even my manager would only have a couple hours a week to train. A month into my employment, I started seeing him less and less. I didn't think anything of it and thought he'd probably do the training soon and just got busy with some more urgent tasks. However, he gave me a bad quarterly review, never mentioned that we had met for just a few hours during the 3-month of employment. So, I decided to go back to look for another job (which I got 6 long months later). 4. Outdated systems - the company's needs have outgrown the version of Oracle they are using. Using Excel as a backup and analytical tool is not good enough. 5. Lack of teamwork - My team didn't foster teamwork and management didn't help either. 6. Lack of communications
