This is a great pub. Staff are brilliant, service is superb. Plenty of bar staff so people are served, tables are cleared. Cask is £5.20 which is a great price for the area and London in general. It's a really comfortable pub. If you're working away from home and want a place where you can relax and enjoy a drink this is it. All in all, the Landlord deserves a full pub because the pub is worth it.

I live in Russell Square. This pub has very decent beer (on the handpumps). The bar staff are friendly, and service is quick. This pub serves nice lunches, and the prices for beer and food are affordable. Atmosphere is nice and there are NO layabouts.

Great pub and friendly atmosphere
One of the best pubs in London. Very reasonably priced, good food and friendly. I always feel at home in here. The pub is in an ideal position close to everything in Bloomsbury. The pub can get busy in the evening but has a great atmosphere.

Great pub and friendly atmosphere

One of the best pubs in London. Very reasonably priced, good food and friendly. I always feel at home in here. The pub is in an ideal position close to everything in Bloomsbury. The pub can get busy in the evening but has a great atmosphere.

Xmas crawl. Thankyou!

Here I have to give a full five star on my 2023 Xmas crawl. Widely disillusioned with my day arriving here confirms last years opinion. Friendly staff, great ales and my choice was under £6 which is my evening target. In fact it’s only 40p more than last year. I have had 50-80p price hikes today. I know beers and suppliers differ in prices but this was a tasty 4% and in my opinion great value for the money . Should have stayed here all the Xmas Crawl! £5.20 in London! Well done. Support your reasonable real ale pubs here!

This is a great pub. Staff are brilliant, service is superb. Plenty of bar staff so people are served, tables are cleared.
Cask is £5.20 which is a great price for the area and London in general.
It's a really comfortable pub. If you're working away from home and want a place where you can relax and enjoy a drink this is it.
All in all, the Landlord deserves a full pub because the pub is worth it.

Fantastic little gem of a pub. Good value tasty food friendly atmosphere and fabulous staff who provide great service .
