The toppings were very well done, however the rest of the drink was of quite low temperature, bordering on being lukewarm, and the consistency was poor, and the overall taste couldn't save the drink. 3.5/10

We had a lovely lunch today! Dog friendly too which was perfect! Lovely food and surroundings and dog biscuits too! We will definitely be back on our next break to Linlithgow!

Fantastic little cafe!! We will be going here again! (Partly because their Christmas menu looks amazing!) The staff were fantastic, the waitress saw my son was nicking my dessert and mentioned there was a fairy cake included with the kid's menu, so saved my cake!! The cakes look amazing and my apple & cinnamon dessert was delicious! The coffee is VERY strong (much needed for those tough mornings!) Very kid friendly and they pay attention to the little details, which makes them stand out! There was rarely a seat available, the door was opening constantly as so many people came in!

Expensive but lovely home baking. Lemon mirangue could be a bit more softer. Went back in again on Saturday 29/723 & opted for their lentil 🍲 it came not to hot & not too cold, so i didn't need to send it back to be reheated, as I do in some other cafes. The lentil soup tasted very good BUT for me it was too watery. A view other cafés that i have reviewed - the soup is nice & thick ANYWAY the baked fluffy tattie 🥔 + the chicken 🐥 tika filling & the small lovely heart ❤️ shaped dish with coleslaw in it all gets 10/10 & i/we could even eat all of the skin on the potato - no hard or tough bits. The mirangue also gets a 10/10 and the next time i'm in i will have their homemade empire biscuit & their still made to the same recipe 2yrs ago. PS. the staff r very nice too. Such a great little cafe .. A lovely, warm, friendly welcome, and the food is delicious, especially the strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake... Definitely a go-to for me after a walk around Linthgow a lovely chill out place to stop for a bite to eat.

We were passing through from Edinburgh. We were impressed with the atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. We will be back there again.

1st visit on route to House of the Binns. Had planned to return for coffee and some of the most delicious cakes I have seen but unfortunately couldn't make it before closing time of 4pm. Will 100% return. Brilliant that it's dog friendly and Ellie thoroughly enjoyed the dog treat. X

Nice little cafe in the centre of Linlithgow and close to the Palace. You can get lovely coffee, tea and cakes but also Pannini and even a Scottish stovie.

Called in here for something to eat after a visit to Linlithgow Palace. Lovely food, the place was clean and tidy, service was excellent. I would recommend this place without hesitation, proper wholesome food.

I've been here a few times and I have always enjoyed my food and my coffee. If your looking for good quality food at affordable prices then you should definitely come here. The staff are always nice and polite. I asked for links saauage but they didn't have any and the lady who took our order couldn't apologise enough for not having what I wanted. I 100% will be back.

From all Scotland, the best food I ever had, nice cozy place and the portion is very big! The haggis is delicious there, mixed with baked potatoes and sweet chilli. Price is super good as well for the big portion. Also they have ice cream and nice cakes - I was so full from the food that I could not eat a cake. 10/10 recommend.

Really enjoyed breakfasting in The Coffee Neuk in Linlithgow. The food was scrumptious and the portion sizes fabulous! Vegan, veggie & meat eaters catered for 😊. Great selection. Lovely staff. Highly recommend.

Amazing service and amazing food!!! The staff here go over and above for their customers! I had fallen ill and needed a birthday cake for my husbands birthday 🎂 it was late and the JJs bakers were closed. The staff at The Coffee Neuk called JJ bakers on my behalf, asked the staff to make me a cake overnight, then the Coffee Neuk girls picked it up for me in broxburn and took it to their cafe in linlithgow where I took my husband for his birthday lunch. The food was excellent and so were the milkshakes. The staff were lovely and showed fantastic customer service! Between the fajita, milkshake, and cake he loved his birthday. Thank you so much ladies. He loved it 🥰

Had a lovely freshly made BLT roll here and partner had panini. Lovely latte as well finished off with a cake! Friendly staff too.

Popped in on a busy Sunday in Linlithgow for a bit of lunch. Self seating available and outdoor tables overlooking the square. Service was quick and the food came quickly too. Had the Haggis, Cheese and Sweet Chilli panini. Comes with some crisps, salad and coleslaw. Was very tasty and filling. Great Haggis! Wife had a Smoked Salmon and Brie panini and she inhaled it - a sign she enjoyed it! Recommended if you want a nice wee cafe for a quick breakfast or lunch.

After walking around Linlithgow Loch we were looking for lunch. There is plenty choice in Linlithgow. We chose The Coffee Neuk as it was close to where we were. I ordered Steak Pie and Chips and what a helping it was. I really enjoyed it, I was very full. We had tea to finish off our meal. It was nice to support a family firm and I have no hesitation recommending this place.

Stopped in with our two young boys for a bite to eat. The whole team could not have been friendlier or more helpful, even bringing out some toast while the food cooked (without anyone asking) because they noticed our youngest was extra hungry. Absolutely super place and our food was great. The wee cakes at home after were amazing! Thank you!

When you go somewhere new for brunch there are some classics you want to see on the menu, and some you have to taste, just to be sure they know how to brunch. Happy to say the Granary Cafe, with its own bakery behind it and excellent locally sourced produce did not disappoint. The Sour Dough Last Bread with Smoked Bacon and Maple Syrup was fabulous (photo doesn't do it justice due to the lighting and my phone not getting on!), wasn't too sweet and the bacon was thick and smoky with loads of flavour. The homemade 5 nut pesto baked eggs was also cracking and worth the 15 minute wait. Glen Lyon Flat White and single shot Oat Milk Flat Whites were similarly excellent, thoroughly recommend if visiting Linlithgow.

I loved it. A busy cafe in a prime spot on Linlithgow High St. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and cheerful. They were happy to share recommendations and knew the dishes on the menu. The menu was varied and in my opinion reasonably priced. I had one of the breakfast bruschetta dishes. Roasted beetroot, hazelnuts, red onion, rocket, feta and hummus on bread. I also added falafel and halloumi. The portion was therefore enormous and was really delicious. If I was being incredibly picky, the falafel could have been less crumbly and a bigger plate would have helped as I was concerned about the food falling off the side as I ate. I had a filter coffee and apple juice. Then I had green tea with a slice of lemon and poppyseed cake. All were delicious. Two hearty main dishes, two cakes, a fair few hot drinks and fruit juice came to £37 and we managed to lose two hours. I came away really satisfied. The staff could not have been nicer. I would definitely return.

Stopped in for coffee and brunch. Got a "mug of soup" which arrived in a plant pot! So cute. The pastries and vegan sandwiches were also delicious as was the coffee! Everyone was so friendly and kind and my daughter enjoyed picking out her own kid's cup for water and talking with the staff😆 very cozy cafe with cute decor and all around good vibes

Pancakes with berry compote. - These 3 generously sized pancakes were perfectly fluffy and a nice level of sweet. The berry compote was by far the nicest I've ever had. Often it's overly bitter, where this had a lovely bitter undertone but sweetness from the fresh berries mixed through. ▫️Scrambled eggs and avocado on a soughdough roll. - Not technically on the takeaway menu, as it's meant to be scrambled egg on toast. But offered to put in a sourdough roll instead and were happy to add the avocado as well. The sourdough roll was soft on the inside with a nice crunch to the outside, absolutely perfect in my eyes. The scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy, excatly what you want and fresh avocado. What more could you ask for.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at this cafe. We ordered a toastie, thinking it was vegetarian, only to discover later that it wasn't. It was entirely our fault for not thoroughly reading the menu. When we approached the staff about our mistake, they were incredibly understanding and kind. Not only did they offer us a replacement, but they insisted that it was their treat. We were genuinely touched by their generosity and understanding. The cafe's staff went above and beyond to make sure we left happy and satisfied, which speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service. We will definitely be returning to this cafe and recommending it to others. It's not just the food that's great here; it's the outstanding service that sets it apart. Cozy little cafe, beautiful both inside and out. Although the coffee (cappuccino and chai) were nothing out of the ordinary the flavour combinations of the food we tried were quite good. Very friendly staff, and we felt very comfortable. 4 stars because of the coffee and for the fact that the seats we took (cushioned seats in the corner next to a mirror/glass) weren't that clean.

A cosy cafe serving some tasty homemade cakes and a decent range of cold drinks. I had a small Viennese swirl type biscuit which was well made along with a pork and cranberry sausage roll. Very nice with a drop of brown sauce.

I bought a scone yesterday to take to a friend. The café is by the bus stop and I had a few minutes before it came. I had intended buying two, but when she told me the price, I nearly fainted £3.95!!!! £3.95 for ONE scone!! ( and a takeaway at that. I didn't even sit in. How on earth can that be justified? Are there gold flakes within the mix? A nice enough, cosy café ( with lovely staff) but massively over-priced. I'll purchase from the café neuk up the road - delicious scones at half the price!

There are an abundance of places to eat breakfast in Linlithgow, but chose this one based on the extensive and unusual menu and were not disappointed. I had the porridge with homemade lemon curd, strawberries and chia seeds which was delightful. My husband had toasted sourdough with scrambled eggs and bacon which went down very well. The service was good - very friendly and attentive. We arrived just after 9am and it was quiet, but it was definitely starting to get busier as we left.

Been here a few times, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is excellent. Last time i was in, i had lasagna, this was cooked to perfection and gorgeous, and my friend had a vegetarian breakfast. She felt the meal was really nice, with the standout being the vegetarian black pudding that was beautiful.

Took my in-laws .. coffee shop was a bit chilly but coffee was good. Cake selection was great but not sure they were all fresh. Friendly staff throughout and marvellous selection of gifts and garden goodies.

Love this place. Been here several times and ive always managed to get what I'm looking for. Got 3 lots of flowers that have 8 in each pack for £11. That's a bargain. They have some gorgeous accessories for the garden tables and etc. If you are looking for a good variety of plants then this is the best place. Plants are well looked after and I never seen any dead flowers and they were watered. I highly recommended this place. They have the best plants locally. I will be back next year. Xx

Popped in for lunch. The specials were mushroom stroganoff and chilli rice. Both were fantastic good quality well presented and delicious. Latte was smooth. Cakes on display looked amazing. Definitely recommended

Really nice place! It's been a few years since we were last at the Garden centre .. Cafe was lovely, really good selection of food and cakes! Disabled access to was good .

Given a recommendation to visit the cafe at Rouken Glen. Was very disappointed. Staff very sullen not helpful at all more interested in chatting to one another than helping their customers. Rolls were not fresh sausage overcooked not good for £12.00. Not for us..sorry.

Someone previously mentioned enormous scones ... They were a meal replacement really. So huge, so much gorgeous jam, and the biggest dollop of cream ever. Utterly delicious, as were the cakes (I'm told). The garden centre is currently stocked with seasonal decorations, but is well stocked with home accessories, house of tweed bags, scarves, and always has a great selection of quality garden equipment. A definite go-to garden centre.

This is such a lovely cafe and the staff are so friendly and kind. I dropped in today with my 5 month old baby and my dog. I was alone with them both and was unable to go in to order, as dogs aren't allowed inside and I wasn't able to tie her up outside as she's very fearful. One of the staff at the visitor centre was so lovely and offered to wait with my dog and baby for a few minutes while I ordered and then the cafe staff brought the food out to me. The food was delicious and prepared very quickly, with plenty of seating outside for us to sit and enjoy the views while we ate. The food is very affordable too; they could charge a lot as there are no other places to eat nearby but they don't and that makes the cafe all the more appealing. Definitely a new favourite for me, although next time I'll plan a bit better so I don't have to trouble someone to watch my dog while I order 🐶🙈

Super-friendly staff. Very helpful with my GF & veggie requirements. They even tolerated my weird coffee request with a smile. I’ve been a few times now and always found it really tasty.

Nice visit with a good view over the park and a great atmosphere. The menu is small but service was very good and prices not too bad for the quantity and quality. Handy for takeaway if your wandering the area and lots of parking in front.

Definitely scrumptious. Me and my wife had the beef burgers, seriously good. All the servers were brilliant, attentive and welcoming. Will be back for sure.

Walked in to look at the menu. Got yelled at to wait at the door. Waited at the door then got scolded again because I wasn't outside the door aka where you can't see anything on the menu or inside the cafe. Although it's great to see the staff take social distancing a covid so seriously. The rude attitude of the staff and bad placement of menus mean you can't see it from where you're waiting slowing down the order process to about 10 minutes per person and thats ignoring the fact that people sitting in the cafe just walk up to the till as they please adds a flavour of spite to the whole experience. I hope they find the improvement they need to talk to people like humans instead of dogs although considering how soon they close the kitchen perhaps that's a factor of the stress that makes it hard for them to be concise and communicate effectively.

Forth Valley Scone Rangers paid another visit here on Jun 1st 22. I have to say that we haven’t eaten anything more substantial than a scone in the Hideaway, but that’s why we go there. These are the best scones in Central Scotland - baked on the premises, large, crisp exterior, light , fluffy interior - a wonderfully balanced scone, and, in our opinion, the best scones in East Central Scotland. Sadly, no cream, and therefore 9 out of 10 rather than full marks. I ought to remember to take my own. Well done Hideaway Cafe. Hats off to the baker.

What a lovely wee cafe! Friendly staff who give the whole place a relaxed atmosphere, prompt service and food cooked to order. Breakfast rolls are the best I've had - Lorne sausage and hash browns - Yum! Well done team!

Lovely little friendly cafe. I had the full breakfast which was fabulous. All perfectly cooked. Friends had the lemon drizzle scones which they said were light and delicious (and huge!). Has a nice outside sitting area too for a nice sunny afternoon. Would totally recommend if you are at Beecraigs.

Lovely little cafe with great views. I had gluten free panini and gluten free carrot cake. Both great. A friend had the burger and chocolate cake which she enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they really make this place special. Look forward to going again.

Spent many mornings here when out on my bike sure it's expensive but I accepted that. Today I brought my daughter and her pal for breccy. Food arrived but one of the party doesn't eat butter .. I asked for a replacement roll as she couldn't eat it nor were we asked if we wanted butter. I WAS THEN CHARGED £1.20 EVEN THOUGH IT WAS HARDLY OUR FAULT. When I objected I was told things have gone up. The may well have but I would expect to be treated correctly regardless.... my 8 year old was shocked... its a few hours later and my daughter still cannot believe it ... she said would be nice to be asked rather than being forced... I am a kid and most of my friends hate butter do they not kbow kids are fussy?? She has since said her friend didn't eat her breakfast as the bacon tasted of butter!!!

We had a lovely lunch when we arrived for a two day stay at the caravan park. The female owner of the cafe, didn’t catch her name, was lovely as were her staff. Good was tasty and cooked to order. Great value, quality produce We also enjoyed a breakfast roll and coffee/hot chocolate before we set off home. Already looking forward to visiting in future

Visited recently for a wedding. The staff were lovely, helpful and chatty and the venue is gorgeous.

We attended a wedding here. And everything was perfectly arranged. Only small downside was thst there are only toilets on the ground floor. Which are also public so at the end of a busy day they are horrible. The staff and location in general are a perfect setting for a wedding. The stairs form a perfect location for the group photo. And the upper level a nice light location for the ceremony.

Just popped in for a coffee and a scone after walking round Linlithgow Loch. Great service from pleasant and efficient staff. Coffee and scones were absolutely amazing. Great snacks at a very reasonable price too.

They really are the first choice of venue for hiring in Linlithgow, great set up, clean, useful well thought out space for multiple uses. They lose a star for only having toilets on one floor. That's quite annoying if you're on it...

Went for a Christmas night. £20 per person. £4 a drink. Small venue, toilets downstairs but there's a lift.

I love the cafe in this building especially sitting outside sitting on the terrace with the dog. It's so peaceful and the food, drinks and staff are always excellent. It really feels like your sitting in history 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👊

We recently had our wedding at Linlithgow Burgh Halls - Tina, Lesley and all the staff at the Burgh Halls are fantastic! It is a beautiful venue which won us over in the first place. But from the time of booking to the end of the big day, the communication and support was second to none. Tina would answer every question I had and make suggestion where I was unsure. The day before the wedding and on the day, we had absolutely no stress as the venue had everything under control and had listened to everything we wanted. 10/10 recommend - thank you so much!

Went into the cafe after visiting Linlithgow Palace with our lovely great granddaughter. The food was decent and prices were pretty reasonable. The staff were very friendly helpful and polite, would certainly go back 😀

Stopped here for a coffee and a fruit scone. A seagull nearly made off with the scone, but it was such a substantial snack that he only managed to get away with a mouthful. The staff are friendly, and the grounds are rather beautiful.

The cafe has gone downhill. Prices have increased but quality has decreased as well as the ambience. The room is also uncomfortably hot. Won't be back.

The whole experience was lovely, really well curated and the room we had for the wedding was stunning. It not only made the event a joy, but the photo opportunities inside and out where perfect.

My wife and I consider Fenwicks to be our favourite cafe. Jo and her team do a brilliant job! We're always greeted with a smile. The food is excellent and the selection of coffees and home made luxury scones are the best in the area. Highly recommended.

What an absolute treat!! The staff and so happy and helpful.. my husband popped in to order as we had our two little dogs with us. The lovely young lad then popped out to see if I would like, butter, jam and cream on my scone. As you can imagine I was absolutely delighted!!! The breakfast roll was delicious and the ratio of roll, bacon and hashbrown was great! It's a pity we are just passing g through on our holiday as this would become a very regular spot for us!!

Visiting Linlithgow for a day out and decided to try the Lochside on a whim. All 3 of us went for the BLT toasted sandwich and were in agreement that it was delicious. Definitely the tastiest bacon I've had in a long time. Excellent staff and the unexpected drama of the tips jar being sent flying by a woman's shoulderbag. Highly recommended. The food and staff that is, not the clumsy customer.

Friendly staff, food freshly prepared so waiting time may feel long but it is well worth waiting for. Not an excessive wait in reality probably an extra ten mins when busy. Nothing a problem, late group appeared and within minutes tables moved around to accommodate. Will be back next time we are in Linlithgow

Food tastes delish and the coffee is great. The portions are embarrassingly small. 1 slice of bread for French toast is a tiny portion for an adult, however when your child is asking you if they’re getting any more you know it’s really small portion. I believe 1 egg is split across several slices as it was extremely dry and needed the whole pot of syrup to swallow it. 2 small slices of bacon to compliment. The wraps are delish too, however the rest of the massive plate remains empty apart from the 4 crisps you get with it. Surely a salad and coleslaw wouldn’t cost a complete fortune to go alongside? Definitely the first time I’ve experienced this in any of our local cafes and a real shame as it’s a lovely place with great flavours.

Great little independent / locally owned cafe for good coffee / range of teas and amazing fruit or plain scones with raspberry jam! Cheese scones, my favourite, would be truly amazing!Personal service, friendly, welcoming and great value. Close to the loch, palace and church and on the mainstreet full of little independent shops. We'll be back without a doubt.

Absolutely lovely wee cafe. In the Regent Centre so there is a large car park. Wonderful selection of treats. Coffee experts. Cafe is set up to explain and allow you to explore coffee. Its wonderful. Cafe showcases local art which you can purchase. Such a warm Family atmosphere to this cafe. Dogs are welcome. Dairy alternatives for milk. Gluten free tray bakes individually wrapped and low gluten options. Really a spectacular place.

A very cool cafe in Linlithgow. The coffee is very good and the scones are good quality but on the this occasion they could've been fresher.

Loved this place. Really nice, well spaced out pace to enjoy coffee and snacks. We had a seat at the window which was nice to watch the world going by... Coffees and cakes were delicious.I've had a take away coffee from here too - equally as good. I'll definitely be back. Staff were a little standoffish. Would I appreciate a little more personable experience? Probably. But this is new coffee house, finding their feet and doing a good job. I definitely recommend.

Where to start... Ordered two flat whites and a cheese scone, to go. They asked if we wanted butter on the scone... It wasn't cut, butter in packets but no way to apply it. The cheese scone was very sweet, they obviously used the same mixture or put sugar in the dough. It was very very wrong when you order a savoury scone. Not even a good scone otherwise. The one flat white had more milk than the other, making it a latte. Neither were good coffees. They said 6oz, but they were far larger. Two stars for having friendly staff.

A wonderful, friendly cafe. Customer service was first rate and you felt very welcome. Coffee was excellent and my partners chi tea latte was spot on. Lovey croissant with ham and cheese for an afternoon snack. Nice and clean throughout. I highly rated coming here for a meal and drinks.

Best coffee in Linlithgow. Family business run by Ilir & Naiomi who roast their own coffee. We went for a tutored coffee tasting which was very fascinating. The food is terrific, sit down or take away. Great sticky buns & cakes from Scottish suppliers. Lovely people

Fantastic find! Great selection of delicious vegan (and non vegan) cakes and pastries. Super baby change facilities and friendly staff. Coffee brilliant too. Will be back to try some of their loose leaf teas soon! Lovely for a stop off from the M9 or just out and about in Linlithgow!

The hot chocolate was reasonably priced and the toppings were of high quality, particularly the marshmallows being very pleasant. The temperature was passable and the overall taste decent, but with great consistency throughout the drink. 6.5/10

White Dove Coffee Roasters is an absolute gem! Their coffee is nothing short of exceptional, offering a delightful range of flavors that tantalize the taste buds. Popped in on the off-chance as the sign said dogs were allowed. So glad I did! The staff were all lovely and everything was so clean and welcoming. The service was excellent and really quick and my soup and sandwich were just what was needed for a November walk around Linlithgow Loch! It's a bit out of my way to become a regular, but I will definitely be back. 5 stars all round!

Just visited randomly for a bacon roll. Ended up buying much more as it looked amazing. Fresh meat, pickles, chili's and cheese along with an excellent latte were the picnic for the day. Shocked at the low price for all of this. Just great. I will be back for more, very soon. I went back and sat in. Great steak and cheese Panini with side salad. Also sampled the pulled pork. Both were excellent.

Stopped by for a late afternoon lunch, ordered charcuterie board for two, plus glass of wine and pot of tea. Served up with nice selection of cold meats and cheeses, all of which were freshly cut. Thoroughly enjoyable, can't complain. Certainly will visit again if in area.

All round 4 star, although the service was quite quick, the area was noisy due to the low ceiling at the back and the coffee machine. Food wasn't too bad, although it was a bit pricey for some of it. The general atmosphere is quite nice and the interesting deli at the front looked to have some lovely range of products. The home baking also looked very tasty with a good range. Meals were a little salty and maybe a bit too much fat on the bacon for my taste, and hollandaise sauce was quite mustardy. Not my first choice but ,I would give it another try. Dogs are welcome however, which is a plus when your 4 footed friend can enjoy a sit-down meal as well.

Service terrible, food average at best. Portion size very big. Large menu selection but no offering of child's menu. Coffee awful. Not great for families at all. High chairs were dirty. Had to clean one myself before putting my daughter in it. Not sure how covid sage it was as didn't see much cleaning I between customers in the seating area. Wouldn't be going back in a hurry!

Great, varied menu. I got the bacon, Brie, and cranberry sauce panini. Comes with homemade coleslaw 😋, and a large salad. The "bacon" was more like thin sliced ham. Everything was very good. Hit the spot. I requested the salad to be separate bc I don't like my food touching. I would eat here again if I was going to be in the area, which I'm not.

Excellent place with more room than you would think. The staff are all young and extremely attentive, fast and polite. A simple straight forward menu with some cakes makes this a simple place with very good food. Would come back, parking is a bit of a nightmare though.

Fantastic home made baking. Always delicious and fresh. Best lentil soup in town served with fresh sour dough bread! I love it and the grand kids do too! Yummy wholesome food

Popped in for a quick coffee and was pleasantly surprised on how good the coffee and scones were. The Piping hot coffee was served in a mug and a great tasting scone. Sheena made us most welcome in the small but cosy tearoom. I'll certainly be back.

Got a takeaway afternoon tea for Mother's Day. Excellent value for money. Rolls, sausage rolls, scones, cupcakes and cakes all fresh and tasted amazing. Plenty to go round. Thank you 😊

I had a wonderful time at this cosy cute cafe in the heart of Linlithgow! I had heard the locals rave about this place so I had to go in a try it myself. The service was amazing- the owner welcomed me with a smile and even offered to whip the cream for my scone fresh for me then and there! The coffee and scone were amazing, I will be coming back for sure- all the way from Australia ☺️

We would like to applause this owner for joining a scheme called too good to be true in our area,we were lucky last night to order. A bag which we get tonight, when my husband an ex soldier of 21 years had an accident seven weeks ago money became very tight,there is no no money for anything bar basic we are both 65 and picking up these bags at minimal cost is a blessing to us ,so I thank you for having the heart and compassion to care for those who have not. We had a great visit to muiravonside country park and it was great to have a cafe to stop and refuel. We had soup and toasties and they were delicious. The staff were fantastic and all friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for BLT sandwiches which looked amazing.

Our first visit to the Wee Coffee Cabin at Muir@vonside. We were confident of a good result here as we use the ‘sister’ cafe in Zetland Park. The coffee was delicious, the scrambled egg rolls perfect and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Need I say more?

What a hidden gem this place is! Popped in for lunch today while we were visiting the park and will definitely be back. Menu had a great selection of sandwiches, toasties & baked potatoes - with plenty of gluten free and vegan options available too. Kids selections are absolutely fantastic for the price, lots to suit even the fussiest of little eaters! Our food arrived quickly and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Cake selection is great, so many to pick from, and I was told that the scones - which looked delicious - are all baked fresh by the staff, not something you see that often! Can’t fault the service at all, it was busy at the time we were there and it seemed a private booking was also arriving at the same time, the two women (Donna & Sharn) were kept busy and nothing was too much trouble. If I had one recommendation, it would be to see there was a way to add a tip on to card payments? Unfortunately we didn’t have any cash with us and when paying I wanted to add something onto my card but the woman taking my payment was unsure if this was possible so I had to leave it. I’ll know for next time though!

Great cafe with a big downstairs seating and play area. Some of the toys have seen better days but none of the kids seem to mind. Perfect spot to have some food and a coffee while toddlers are occupied. Lots of high chairs and a good kids menu (yoghurt and fruit, sandwiches, mini soup etc). Everyone downstairs has children so there is no worrying about noise or little ones being disruptive. There is a space to leave prams upstairs (no lifts to the downstairs area/ toilets) and toilets with baby changing. Cafe has stairs to both levels, and a big step at the front door, so wouldn't be suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

The best food for brunch in Linlithgow! The closed and open sandwiches are excellent and the bagels are nice as well however they do not come with a side. I have enjoyed the matcha latte and citrus cake which was soft and fragrant. The only detractor would be that the middle tables can feel a bit cramped, we had 3 people sharing a 2 person table and it was not the most comfortable, but they were able to accommodate us as they are usually busy.

Everything was really nice. I had ice moccha with chicken pesto toast. Staffs were very informative and helpful. There is one thing to make it perfect, if the top of my toast was not overcooked. But I still enjoyed my lunch very much.

This is a really great place to come for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Really good food that’s obviously had a bit of thought and love put into the offering. It’s well laid out, with the family area downstairs. It just feels like a nice place to be. I really hope they consider opening a branch in Livingston as the town is crying out for something of this quality!

The best place for breakfast/brunch/ lunch and coffee in Linlithgow. Everything is deliciously fresh and locally sourced - the owners clearly really care about sustainability, quality and representing the best Scottish produce. Food is fantastic - amazing toasties, Bross Bagels, soups, salads and unique weekly specials that always hit the spot. The cafe itself is beautiful, including a kids area downstairs for families. I can’t wait to try their new festive menu! The cafe is always updating their offerings to fit with the seasons. Stellar service. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A great selection of hot drinks and cakes on a Saturday lunchtime. Service was efficient and the downstairs area was clean and organised. The banana bread blondes were a firm favourite!

Great place to chill with kids and get good coffee! Aran is a great cafe that caters for both. Nice seating area upstairs with friendly staff, good food & great coffee. They also have a perfect space downstairs that’s ideal for families. I regularly take my son for breakfast, with all the toys and calm environment it makes great time.

I visited this wonderful little cafe in Linlithgow. It was very busy when we arrived, clearly a town favourite for lunch. The still had ond table free upstairs about 12:45 nearing the end of the lunch rush. I ordered a bagel and soup, but they were so popular, they had just run out of soup that day. The bagel was divine! It was toasted with smoked salmon, and egg with mill mayonnaise and gerghin pieces. Yum!!! I also noticed they have some vegan desserts (marked VG), which is nice yok ow for next time. I really enjoyed going there, and would go again. For visitors to Linlithgow, it is in the square with the Linlithgow Cross Well.

Choose here as it had outside seat in the sun. Had haggis roll, black pudding and bacon roll. Pot of tea and black coffee, for £12.50. 2 slices of haggis likewise for black pudding and bacon. Nice roll, good size for filling. Do think that £4.50 for a plain scone with jam, butter and cream is a bit steep... However, would return.

After a lovely walk around Linlithgow we were delighted to have found this cafe. It was a busy Saturday but we were lucky to get a table. We were spoilt for choice with the menu with so many tempting dishes on offer. We chose the tattie scone stack followed by the warm chocolate brownie with custard. We were not disappointed, both were delicious. We had great service from all the staff including the dog who was absolutely gorgeous and checked in with all the visitors.
