The Good Law Project's fundraiser for a legal challenge to the excessive length of NHS waiting times for trans healthcare closes on the 30th of October.
This case is potentially immensely important to the future of accessible trans healthcare in England - At present, the scale of waiting times for NHS trans healthcare services in the UK can reach in excess of 5 years before an initial appointment is offered. One of the women featured in yesterday’s BBC transphobic hit piece, was a porn star who said she “felt pressured” to film a porn scene with a trans woman, called Lily Cade. Lily Cade apologised four years ago after a series of sexual assault allegations including attacks in bathrooms.
I just can’t believe the nerve to include her story - being asked to film a scene with a trans woman which didn’t go ahead at her request - as evidence of people being coerced into sex, when she has literally sexually assaulted multiple women, wtf!
I'm starting to think that more and more TERFs are just projecting their own disgusting impulses onto others.
The same way gay homophobes project their homosexuality onto straight people: They assume everyone is the same as them.
The same way that Christian pastors say trans women will assault women: The pastors want to assault women.
A non-zero number of TERFs are projecting their own desire to assault and rape women onto trans women, because they're uncomfortable with their own sick desires.
well statistically speaking women are in more danger of being sexually assaulted by a cis lesbian in a women's bathroom than a trans women. especially one on HRT, don't know many sexual assaulters with low libido.

Trans women don't transition to assault cis women, a cis man can allready walk into a women's bathroom and do those things without going through life changing hrt and not a single person would actually do shit to stop them, we know that because it happens daily, and its the by stander effect.

I know it's probably a waste of time to try to wrap my head around that of someone willing to carry out rape, but I don't get that. I remember 2 years ago, there was a girl at my local University who was raped while staying after class to work on an art project. If I remember correctly, he was a complete stranger, and I wondered why for a while after that. What promps you to walk into a college art classroom and force yourself on a random stranger?

This is getting a little weird and victim blame-y. People freeze when under attack, it’s very often the case that attack’s success does not hinge on who has more raw strength. It isn’t an arm wrestle.
Rape and sexual assault isn't necessarily about strength. There are so many variables that could enable this. The other person needs to consent and sometimes they don't but also do not fight back for various reasons. The most obvious and likely ones are drugs or alcohol and surprise.
For example randomly kissing and grouping someone or going further than wanted, in the moment the person might not react how they would if they had time to think and process what is happening. Lots of other possibilities.

Of everyone in the world, she's one of the people with the absolute least moral authority on the subject of pressuring people to have sex.

There was an article which basically suggested that the trans community was attacking lesbians for not having sex with trans women. Yeah, it was even worse than you think.
Anyone have the link for it ? It's up to people what there preference is when it comes to dating that's not my business I identity as a lesbian but I understand not all of them would want to date me due to been amab and because of what I have in my knickers even tho I wanna change that but I don't see why we need to be attacked every 5 minutes when are we are doing is living our real self's society in general is disgusting all they go on about is attacks from transwomen does anyone even have official figures on this as I would think it's ultra rare cis men are the ones doing all this no one would go though a transition just to get in the woman's toilets
Here's the article. They've essentially taken what is an issue of tiny proportions and made it into a huge deal by using very dodgy evidence and misinterpreting quotes from Stonewall etc which say there might be an element of subconscious bias if you find yourself not wanting to ever date trans people. And as usual they treat Stonewall and the LGB Alliance as if they have the same level of authority and relevance. Overall it's just set up to make it seem like the trans community as a whole thinks that lesbians should be shamed for not dating trans women which is ridiculous and a complete fabrication.
