Arezzo|1.1km from Scuola Primaria Leonardo Bruni
This hotel certainly needs a facelift on all fronts! From the decor to the levels of hospitality. Dated and almost dingy this place was barely manageable as we came in quite late in the night and checked out early in the morning. They had heated up the whole place like a Sauna. And all the quirky decor in the room creeped us out a bit too. If not for the excellent location, we would have never chosen this place! LOCATION: Excellent location within walking distance from the train station as well as all key points of interest DINE + DRINK: Didnt have a chance to check what they had to offer, co cant comment ROOM: We stayed in a room called ROSSINI, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random view of the street ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Barely functioning air conditioner, had to leave the window open all night!; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: random cosmetics, so do bring your own. FACILITIES: No gym or pool on site. SERVICE: Thank god we got received by the lovely lady who managed the front desk in the night. Apart from her everyone and anyone we interacted with here seemed to have an issue with delivering warm hospitality! Certainly not folks with a sunny disposition! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages and also connected to Smart TV Apps like Netflix, Amazon prime!

I was a bit apprehensive about the hotel, after reading a couple of negative reviews that were quite harsh. I took a bet as sometimes folks dont understand what an old world hotel is meant to offer and expect the sun and the moon from them! I am glad I took the chance, as we were pleasantly overwhelmed by everything that came our way. From friendly service to the old world decor and Christmas festive vibe that the hotel was glowing with. In Summary, an absolute value for money and lovely hotel in the heart of the old town. You should stay here just to experience the Terrace (which is open only to guests) and the spectacular views of the old town from there. An experience not to be missed! LOCATION: Fantastic location in the old town. A 5-minute walk from Museo Archeologico, this informal hotel is a 9-minute walk from Arezzo Cathedral and a 12-minute walk from the long-standing Fortezza Medice DINE + DRINK: Decent breakfast at the restaurant and the lobby level bar/cafe whipped out wicked Amercano’s everytime we requested them to. ROOM: We stayed in room , so this review is based on that; VIEW:sweet view of the street and the city at a distance ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Good quality cosmetics FACILITIES: No Gym or pool on site. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to MARTINA ( guest relations), who went above and beyond to enhance our stay experience and Alessandro at the front desk for a warm welcome experience. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in limited languages

#positive #I was happy with the Corridor Soundproofing, Hotel Smell, Location, Room Layout, Natural Light in the Room, Value for Money; It is very like a hotel at home. The boss is very enthusiastic. I must live for a day when I come here to meet the monthly market. This small city is worth visiting. Pure Tuscan scenery

I like to start on the positive, the location is great. Central to everything within few minutes walk, a little tricky to get to by car but no different to any other historical town. The staff were lovely and helpful, but then realised that the lady running the breakfast is also the housekeeper and I think that says a lot. This hotel may have been 4stars a long time ago, but now it has sunk down to 2 starts, it is in need of a major refurbishment. We had a fairly spacious room for 3 people, but the colour scheme must have been painted by a colour blind painter on an acid trip! It was painted in lolly pink and sunshine yellow with contrasting skirting in mauve and brown! The fan in the bathroom was running all the time, making this suctions noise day and night! The breakfast was horrid! The same slices of cheese and ham were presented every morning, until the hedges started curling. On our floor there was a water dispenser, with the most horrid plastic cups, which were communal to everyone on the same floor! My advice to the owner, which lives in the hotel, is to take a road trip and visit other 4 star hotels to compare what is out there, because with the right refurbishment and the location the hotel would be a wonderful asset to Arezzo..

we stayed at this hotel for 4 nightsas part of our trip on Riviera Travel. The hotel was ok, but when we left to go to Assisi and Rome, we left an expensive camera behind in our room. We discovered it after a couple of hours and told our rep who rang the hotel several times. We were quite confident we would get it back as hardly any time had passed, But no one found it and we lost it, with all our photos, videos etc. Apparently we were not the first for this to happen to at this hotel, so take care, they seem to have a problem.
