Langrishe Go Down plot

Imogen Langrishe is a woman in her early thirties who lives with her two sisters Helen and Lily in a dilapidated house in Ireland, while the men of her once wealthy family fight in the war. To keep their heads above water, the sisters take in a tenant. The tenant, named Otto Beck, is a student working on his dissertation. Imogen soon becomes interested in Otto, who returns her love. But soon everything goes wrong.
