Gary One thing about this movie is telling us is to Follow our Dreams 💫✊🏿🎞🎬❤ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/20/23 Full Review G An American Classic Love Story Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/31/21 Full Review Katie D Definitely not what I was expecting! I love Emma and Ryan together but the storylines were a bit drawn out and disappointingly difficult to follow. Some of the musical numbers/dream sequences felt out of place and over the top, sending the audience out of La La Land. I did really like the jazz coming into a new generation and John Legend's music! This movie was really good but not not great. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/15/21 Full Review ROSS C the rating of this movie reminded me of reviews on lazada...they gave the product 4 stars for receiving item, but hadnt tested or used it. hve people really watched this? i found it boring! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/04/24 Full Review Audience Member Best movie. Best storyline, best visuals, best music, best storytelling. It is and will forever be my favourite. I love that this love story doesn't have a happy ending and growing up and maturing after being destroyed by it, it was actually for the better. :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/24 Full Review Christopher H For a film set in and around Hollywood, this movie surprises even shocks the audience offering an unexpected and to many an unhappy Hollywood ending - a Sliding Door "alternative take montage" presents what could have been and for many what should have been outcome. Personally as painful as the looks upon our leading characters' faces in the closing shot, the film captures the conflict of personal passions in a tug-of-war against the pursuit of love. Can our protagonists have both love of career and love for another from "the one" or does "the one" get away? Here's to the fools who dream! Christy Lemire What the Flick?! It is joyful. It leaps off the screen. Oct 10, 2018 Full Review Kambole Campbell One Room With A View A gorgeously photographed, unashamedly nostalgic, bittersweet marriage of the modern and the traditional, proving Chazelle's fantastic eye for musical sequences. Rated: 5/5 Aug 25, 2018 Full Review Kristen Lopez Culturess With its candy-coated color palette and Emma Stone's earth-shattering performance, there's plenty of love found within La La Land. Nov 20, 2017 Full Review Angelos Koutsourakis PopMatters The melancholy in this film's musical sequences serves as commentary on cinema's bygone capacity to produce a unique kind of magic. Feb 21, 2024 Full Review Tina Kakadelis Beyond the Cinerama Dome This film is a celebration of “the fools who dream.” The world would be a much darker place without those fools. Jul 25, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies I was swept away by the the dazzling, joyous, smile-inducing production. Rated: 4.5/5 Aug 22, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
