  • Here, FEMAIL reveals the unheard of European royals still worthy of attention
  • Including Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece and Afonso, Prince of Beira

There's certain royals that mostly need no introduction regardless of who you're talking to - from King Charles to Prince Harry and Kate Middleton.

However, other princes and princess across Europe are just as interesting, glamorous and charming as their better-known counterparts.

For instance, Prince Sébastien of Luxembourg, 30, has recently been hailed as one of the most eligible people in Britain, according to Tatler.

Featured alongside household names such as Love Island star Gemma Owens and footballer Mason Mount, the prince appeared in the British society bible's ultimate list of the 200 most in-demand women and men in the UK.

Elsewhere, another lesser-known royal who is by no means unworthy of our attention is Afonso, Prince of Beira.

The 26-year-old is already hotly desired by his Portuguese fans thanks to his dashing good looks and his role as Honorary Commander in the Voluntary Fire Brigade of Lisbon.

Equally sought-after by wannabe princesses is Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece, who with his stunning good looks, appears to be the definition of a Greek God.

Here, FEMAL reveals the lesser-known European princes and princess royal fans need on their radar...

Princess Maria Chiara Di Bourbon-Two Sicilies, 17, is the daughter of Prince Carlo, Duke of Castro and Princess Camilla, Duchess of Castro.

Prince Carlo holds a claim to the now defunct throne of the former House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, a cadet branch of the Spanish royal family, which descends from the Capetian Dynasty and ruled over Southern Italy and Sicily during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Although the family has no official remit, they spend their time doing charity work and promoting the interest of Southern Italy.

The prince's daughters - which also includes his heir Maria Carolina, 19 - enjoy a life of luxury, spending their time between Italy, Monaco, Paris and St Tropez, soaking up the sun, sporting designer labels and making the most of their families' wealth.

They are also actively involved with charity work and rub shoulders with the most elite socialites of Europe, speaking fluently in English, French and Italian.

The two princesses want for nothing and are often showered with gifts from their doting parents for their birthdays. On their respective Instagram accounts, they share snaps of their holidays around the globe, from Paris to Dubai and New York.

The eldest, Maria Carolina, Duchess of Calabria and of Palermo - or Carolina for short - was born in 2003 in Rome. She is her father's direct heir and will inherit his title and duties, as well as his claim to Head of the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies.

Charia, Duchess of Noto, who is two years younger, was also born in Rome, in 2005. She shares her sister's passion for travelling and charity work and documents her love of fashion on Instagram.

Their mother, Duchess Camilla, born Crociani, is the daughter of Italian industry Tycoon Camilla Crociani and the actress Edy Vessel.

Princess Mafalda of Bulgaria, 28, is the daughter of Kyril, Prince of Preslav, who attended Prince Philip's Service of Thanksgiving, and granddaughter of King Simeon II, also known as Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, the last reigning Tsar of Bulgaria and later served as Prime Minister.

Her mother is former Valentino muse Rosario Nadal, who now works as an art director and consultant.

Kryil and Rosario, who have been separated since 2009, rubbed shoulders with Diana on board Valentino's yacht in the Nineties.

Based in New-York, the princess, a 'modern society swan' and singer-songwriter, was born and raised in London alongside her siblings Olimpia and Tassilo before moving to the US for university.

She enrolled at the Berklee College of Music, in Boston, where her partner Lebanese-born British financier Marc Abousleiman was living while completing his degree at Harvard. He now works for US firm Further Global Capital Management.

The singer released her first single, Don't Let Go, in 2015 while still a student, which she followed up two years later with an EP, Daisy Chain, although she has still yet to write a breakout hit.

Thanks to her family connections, Mafalda was invited to perform a Valentino fashion show in Athens in 2016. She has also performed at New York Fashion week.

Five years ago Mafalda moved to New York and was named one of the city's New Modern Swans by Town & Country magazine.

Despite her public persona, she and Marc prefer to keep their relationship out of the spotlight and rarely share photos on social media.

Beatrice Borromeo of Monaco was named the most stylish European royal by Tatler in 2021, with the society bible praising her 'penchant for Valentino, Armani Prive and Chanel'.

Beatrice, 37, is the daughter of Italian aristocrat Don Carlo Ferdinando and worked as a political journalist and documentary maker, before marrying Pierre Casiraghi, 33, the son of Caroline, Princess of Hanover and the grandson of Grace Kelly.

On her wedding day in 2015, she sported four couture gowns, two by Valentino for her civil service in Monaco and two by Armani Privé for the religious service in Lake Maggiore.

Seven years on and now a mother-of-two, Beatrice is still impressing wherever, she goes, with Tatler saying she: 'cuts an elegant figure everywhere she goes – whether it's a red carpet, a royal appearance or simply yacht-hopping – with her equally chic sister-in-law Charlotte Casiraghi making for the perfect fashion partner-in-crime'.

Beatrice first shot to the fashion world's attention when she tied the knot in what Vogue dubbed the 'chicest wedding of the summer'.

The magazine called Beatrice the 'Monégasque royal to keep your eye on' describing her wedding dresses as 'a love letter to the greats of Italian fashion'.

In 2021, she became an ambassador for Dior, opting for a navy jumpsuit to watch their 2021 fashion show virtually.

Since, Beatrice, who shares son Stefano, five, and Francesco, four, has been pictured in Dior pieces, styling them perfectly.

Prince Sébastien of Luxembourg is the youngest son of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa - and therefore doesn't make the headlines as much as his older brother and heir to the throne Prince Guillaume.

The 30-year-old, who was born on 16 April 1992 at the Maternité Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, went to Sandhurst from 2016 to 2017, following in the footsteps of his father and his eldest brother.

His grandfather Grand Duke Jean served in the regiment of the British Army during World War II.

Sébastien is fluent in Luxembourgish, French, English, German and has some knowledge of Spanish, according to the Royal Household's website.

For his university studies, he went to America and during the summer holidays, he interned at LVMH Watch & Jewellery in Hong Kong in 2014.

He holds a degree in Marketing and Communications from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, and has also worked in Germany for a forest management, focusing on sustainable methods.

The prince takes part in ceremonies such as National Day with the Royal Family of Luxembourg, and enjoys discovering new cultures, according to the household's website.

Prince Donatus, 28, is a descendant of the Schaumburg-Lippe royals, who ruled the German state until the abolition of the country's monarchies after the First World War.

He shares his good lucks with his glamorous mother Princess Marie-Louise of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, known as Lilly Wittegenstein.

Donatus was born in Hanover before moving with his mother to Munich in 2002.

He attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Berkshire, and upon graduating became a troop leader in Her Majesty's Household Cavalry Life Guards.

Donatus left the regiment in the rank of Second Lieutenant in 2016, according to the charity Interhelp German Society for International Aid

Elsewhere, the prince and his mother recently undertook an ultramarathon together, walking nearly 100 miles through mountainous terrain, to raise funds for a relief project in the Philippines.

'I have always set myself ambitious goals – and I intend to succeed in them,' Donatus told the non-profit organisation ahead of the activity in 2016.

'I want to do this for a good cause, which is why I am running for Interhelp. My Father has been the Patron of this organisation for many years, and through him I know that every cent reaches those in need, with absolutely no exception.

'To run such a distance is quite a feat. It requires iron discipline and I am sure it was initially more difficult for my mother than for me.

'I say initially because we both have reached a point at which we are finding new boundaries, and therefore learn more about ourselves.'

In March 2022, he revealed how he was helping refugees at the border of Ukraine and Poland because he wanted to 'deliver a sense of humanity to people in need'.

Heinrich Donatus volunteered with non-profit Interhelp to give medical support to Ukrainians arriving in Poland after Russia invaded their home country.

Writing for Tatler, he shared his experience of seeing 'thousands of disoriented and frantically shuffling refugees' in Medyka.

Recalling his experience at the border, he said: 'The sense of urgency was palpable at Medyka as women and children shuffled by wide-eyed and restless, demonstrating a flight mode that increasingly transpired as I looked out across the crowd.'

Heinrich documented his journey to the Ukrainian border on Twitter and Instagram, showing the supplies that the charity had delivered. This also included an ambulance bus to be used to help the refugees arriving in Poland.

Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece is the son of Marie-Chantal and father Pavlos, the Crown Prince and Princess of Greece.

He attended New York University after his family moved to America when he was a teenager.

The 22-year-old has largely grown up away from the spotlight but is now a fledgling actor - appearing in US soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful alongside his aunt Princess Theodora.

He offers his 480,000 Instagram followers a glimpse into his jet-setting, lavish life, posting snaps from his trips around the world with his group of friends - which includes Princess Beatrice.

And he's certainly amassed a legion of adoring female fans, with many commenting on his pictures and having a particular appreciation for his chiselled jaw.

He is the third of Princess Marie-Chantal and Prince Pavlos' five children and was born in New York where his parents were then based, but they relocated to London in 2004 for their children's education.

Achileas is technically royal in name only because Greece voted in favour of a republic in 1974 while his grandfather Constantine was on the throne.

Aged just 39, Prince Albert has been head of the princely Thurn und Taxis dynasty since his father Johannes' early death in 1990.

Placed in control of the family fortune aged 21, Albert's holdings include family seat Schloss Emmeram, a vast art collection, a technology company and 30,000 hectares of German woodland.

Having graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in economics and theology, Albert has devoted himself to life as a racing driver and competes in the German GT Championship ADAC GT Masters.

As a member of a historic royal house with a glittering career in finance and invites to star-studded events, Prince Wenceslas of Liechtenstein has plenty to offer a potential partner - yet the 48-year-old has struggled to find 'the one'.

Wenceslas, son of private banker Prince Philipp of Liechtenstein and nephew of the reigning Prince Hans-Adam II, has never married or had children, unlike his equally dashing brothers Alexander and Rudolf.

The London-based royal's last public relationship was almost 20 years ago, when he dated stunning Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima, now 41, for three years.

The romance landed the young couple on New York's society pages and led to the royal being nicknamed 'Prince Wence' by the tabloid press.

In the decades since, he has been snapped with a string of glamorous women, including Sports Illustrated model Barbara Palvin, 28, and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Tom Cruise and Princess Victoria of Sweden at glitzy galas.

Last October, he enjoyed an outing with yet another beautiful blonde in London - but it seems lasting love remains elusive.

Founded more than 300 years ago, the Princely House of Liechtenstein gives its name to the tiny European nation.

All living members are descendants of its founder, Prince Johann I, who was granted admission to the Confederation of the Rhine in 1806 by Napoleon, in a move that laid the foundation for sovereignty.

The issue of sovereignty remains important to the nation, which has a population of just 38,137 and measures just 15 miles from east to west.

The eldest son and heir to the Duke of Braganza, Afonso is prince to the defunct Portuguese throne.

He was born in Lisbon but educated at a private school in England before returning to Portugal to study International Relations and Political Science at Lusíada University.

The prince currently lives in Portugal and is the Honorary Commander in the Voluntary Fire Brigade of Lisbon.

Although he doesn't appear to have a public social media account, fans of the royal's can often spot him joining his mother, Isabel, Duchess of Braganza, or his younger sister, the Duchess of Coimbra at events.

Prince Constantine, 24, who goes by the name of Tino, is the eldest son of the three sons of Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece and his wife Marie Chantal.

He's largely grown up away from the limelight, but has developed a loyal fan base on Instagram where he boasts 194,000 followers, who shower the young prince with compliments.

Like his brother Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece, Tino is technically royal in name only as Greece voted in favour of a republic in 1974 while his grandfather Constantine was on the throne.

His family is closely connected with the British royals as Prince William is his godfather, and Prince Charles hosted a gala at Highgrove to celebrate King Constantine's 60th birthday in 2000.

Tino was born in New York where his parents were then based, but they relocated to London in 2004 for their children's education.

He attended Wellington College in Berkshire where fees start at £9,040 per term for day pupils and famous alumni include George Orwell and Sebastian Faulks.

In August 2017, the prince relocated to the US to attend Georgetown University, Washington DC.
