This is a horror game that you will get addicted to quickly. The indie game titled Buckshot Roulette has recently blown up among the gamer community and it’s easy to see why. Based on the idea of roulette-style games, this game centers around you betting your life against a mysterious masked dealer. Check out more about this game below.

The game states “Buckshot Roulette is a tabletop horror game that attempts to re-design the infamous game of Russian Roulette, replacing the traditional revolver with a proper 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. This extra firepower, and more importantly the different mechanics in handling a shotgun compared to a revolver, offers a fresh take on the classic and deadly game of chance. The game takes place at the top of an underground nightclub, where the metal railings tremble to the pulse of long-lost drum machines. A crooked AI dealer is waiting for you. Will you meet them?”

The game was created and developed by Mike Klubnika for Windows and Linux on itch.io. He is known for the horror games Unsorted VHS and The Other Side. First released on December 28th of last year, the game became a major hit in the gaming community and is streamed by several big-time gamers. The game’s ability to keep changing up on items you get dealt with and the randomness of the dealer AI is what keeps the game fresh with gamers.

One of the most interesting things about the game is the mysterious dealer. Not much is known about the dealer’s origins, but one thing in the game raises interest. One of these is the liability waiver that randomly pops up with God’s name at the bottom. It is covered in blood and raises the question of whether the dealer won against God or if the dealer lost and is forever trapped playing the roulette game.

This would be insanely crazy for fans of the series. It is rumored that 5 Resident Evil games are currently in development from Capcom. According to the reputable insider Dusk Golem, Capcom is working on the next installment of the series RE9 and an additional 4 more games for the series. Comicbook.com, Game Rant, and several other news sites have reported the same. Check out more about what he said and what the games may potentially be below.

According to insider Dusk Golem, he posted “Yup, I know of 5 RE games in dev right including RE9″. “One of these projects could be released in late 2026/early 2027.“

While nothing has been officially confirmed, it is interesting to think what else Capcom may have up its sleeve. One of the most obvious things is remakes of the classic games in the franchise. These remakes were a huge success and did better than what was intended. It is also possible they may go a whole new direction and create a new game for the series apart from RE9. The possibilities are endless.

While it may be a while before another new game is dropped, on February 20th, the re-release of the Resident Evil 4 remake titled Resident Evil 4: Gold Edition comes out. This is some exciting news for fans of this game series as a possible The Last of Us Part 3 has just been teased. In the latest documentary from Naughty Dog titled Grounded II: Making The Last Of Us Part II, Neil Druckmann gave an interesting quote and teaser at the end. He stated that “…it does feel like there’s probably one more chapter to this story.” Check out more of what he said in the documentary below.

Neil Druckmann stated in the documentary “The great thing about working at Naughty Dog is that we don’t have to. “It’s always like, ‘we would love another Last of Us, but if you guys feel you’re passionate about something else, we’ll support this other thing.’ Very privileged position to be in, I never take that for granted. I’ve been just thinking about it, ‘is there a concept there?’ And for now years, I haven’t been able to find that concept. But recently, that’s changed, and I don’t have a story, but I do have that concept that to me is as exciting as 1, as exciting as 2, is its own thing, and yet has this throughline for all three. So it does feel like there’s probably one more chapter to this story.”

The Last of Us first came out in 2013 and became the biggest video game launch at the time. The game sold over 1.3M units and became the best-selling digital release on the PlayStation store on the PlayStation 3 only to be beat out by Grand Theft Auto V later that year. With such a huge success, a sequel was bound to be developed and The Last of Us Part 2 was released in 2020. The sequel was an even better success selling over 2.8M units in just its first month. It went on to become one of the best-selling PlayStation exclusive launches of all time.

The games follow the storyline of “The post-apocalyptic United States where survivors Joel and Ellie work together to survive their westward journey across what remains of the country to find a possible cure for the modern fungal plague that has nearly decimated the entire human race.“

This is some big news for us fans of the series as it shows that they are interested in part 3 and that Neil Druckmann himself stated there is potential for it.
