What travelers are saying
- Beat5rixSydneySydney, Australia356 contributionsAustralia is a bit ‘obsessed’ with big sculptures, some are great, others not so.
The big Kookaburra is gorgeous, a real landmark in the midst of Kurri Kurri. You can’t miss it, stop over, relax in the lovely little park and take some photos. It’s worth it!Written May 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The spectator area like typically in Australia - you need to bring your own chair. Parking is a major problem - prepare for washing the car once you have been there.Written February 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tony WSydney, Australia4,585 contributionsAs you drive around the town of Kurri Kurri you will notice these brilliant murals everywhere on the buildings and even the public facilities in the local park. One local kindly informed us of a common image in every mural, a hint is it’s something the town is somewhat obsessed with. Some are obvious whereas some are cunningly hidden, the Gallipoli landing mural presents a challenge to find the image. Very well done and good fun to find the murals.Written July 15, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Martin TAdelaide, Australia8 contributionsGreat heated indoor pool for laps. Not overly busy around lunch time. We went two days at this time and had our own lane of both occasions. Probably the best shower I have ever experienced at a Centre like this - hot and strong and not one of those fiddly things you need to press every minute. Very friendly and helpful staff.Written September 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
