2016 marked the opening of Kuching’s most anticipated shopping mall, named VivaCity Megamall.
Offering six storeys of numerous branded shops, it is at that time the biggest shopping destination by size in Kuching City, and perhaps Sarawak.
The most exciting thing about the mall is perhaps it marks the entry of TGV Cinemas, which is a major cinema brand from West Malaysia offering IMAX movie going experience.
It is also the first mall in the city to house a gym.
Aside from that, you also get to stroll among major clothing brands in the mall which also offer the biggest selection of food and beverage restaurants as well as a medium sized exhibition centre.
Like most malls in Kuching City, the mall opens at 10AM until 10PM daily, and parking is charged by the hour.
