Visited this restaurant Dec 2019 while on short break in Krakow. Restaurant is old wild- west themed with real looking artefacts and smart decorations ( could easily look tacky but definitely did not). Staff young, friendly, helpful and efficient. Excellent menu with lots of choices.Our...reason for visiting was a birthday. Prices very reasonable....we had 2 cocktails, bottle of wine, shared starter, 2 main courses (1 steak that was cooked exactly as requested, 1 fajitas), shared dessert and 2 liqueur coffees.......all for equivalent of £62.Also has outside seating for summer visits in the main pedestrian squareMore

Me and my girlfriend came here on our first night out in Krakow after hearing good things about the place and it’s safe to say it exceeded all expectations! We were seated upstairs where the atmosphere was very good and we were particularly impressed with...the setting and the decoration of the restaurant giving off a very western theme. We later discovered there was an underground floor too and with it being a Friday night it was very busy so they obviously cater for a lot of guests but this didn’t slow down the service we received in any way. We were looked after by Justyna who was very helpful throughout and made us feel extremely welcome. The food was delicious, big portions and very good quality. If you’re a meat lover like myself I can’t recommend this place enough. I had the Lux Burger which was to die for; without doubt one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever eaten. My partner got a steak (Rio something I believe it was called) and she also loved that. I must also point out how reasonably priced this place is! We also had starters and 2 alcoholic drinks each and our bill equated to roughly £45 which, for the quality, is incredibly cheap. Overall this was a great experience and we couldn’t have wished for a nicer restaurant to visit on our first night in Krakow!More

Had been led to believe this was the pinnacle of steak restaurants in Poland , Did struggle a little to get in as it always seems fairly busy . We did manage to get in by turning up and waiting at door for a table...luckily only about 5 mins. Was seated and we got almost immediate service from a lovely attentive waitress always looking over in case we needed anything her name was Justyna . Ordered 2 x chicken soup starters less than £2 each it arrived and had a duel consistency top half clear bottom half dense with chicken pieces and thin noodles , It was tasty and satisfactory . Went on to order Rio Bravo 8oz tenderloin Beefsteak baked wedges with seperate Tzatziki and Jim Beam barbecue sauce and a Salad . A 12 oz T Bone steak with chips Jim Beam barbecue sauce and half a ton of Salad on a Huge cutting board had a Vegetarian Fajita meal to get the roasted veg ie peppers etc . my partner realy enjoyed her Rio Bravo i did enjoy T bone but wasnt super impressed much preferred my Tomahawk at Moo This meal was satisfactory and not expensive for the amount we had including 4 large beers it was circa £60 . Service was very good and not much waiting for anything as waitress was top notch.More

I was in Kraków yesterday and as usual, wanted to dine at Sioux as their food and restaurant are really good. We (3 people) were told by the skinny bald guy at the door that without reservation we couldn't get in as it was fully...booked. We walked about 20 meters out and stopped to check for alternative places on Google. At this moment we saw multiple times people looking at the menu on the wall of Sioux, only to be given the full menu by the skinny bald guy that told us the place was full?! Some of them were even entering the place after browsing the menu. I went to the skinny bald guy and asked again for a table. He said it's all full and I'd have to wait until 20.00 or even 21.00 for a table (it was 18.15 when I asked). I asked him why, in that case, he gives menus to other people who don't have a reservation? He started stuttering, first lying that those people have a reservation even though one couple was standing next to us during this conversation and they said they didn't (and they also left when they heard my conversation with the skinny bald guy). When this lie failed he said they also have tables outside and they will be available in 10 minutes. I confirmed: "so you do actually have tables available". I reminded him I'm with the group of 3 that he rejected 10 minutes ago supposedly for having no tables. Quickly he offered to talk to the manager to get us in and 30 seconds later we were told "whenever we are ready". Of course, we are no idiots and we decided to spend our money elsewhere. I have been coming to this place (as well as the one in Warsaw) many times and never experienced this extremely rude behavior. Please fire the skinny bald guy (claiming to be named Lukasz) before you lose more customers.More

The food came very fast and the waiters were also very fast and always around (stressed atmosphere) ... but the food was not so good. I ordered ribs and they barely came with any souce so they were very dry, without any seasoning at all....Other meat dishes were also very dry and not special. Many dishes were “pre-heated” for example the onion rings, a starter, and the cheesecake were 100% not fresh, wich is not acceptable for this price. Prices are higher that other spots we visited but I guess you pay for the location, its right in the center of the city.More

SIOUX  This was our first meal in Krakow and having read the good reviews we thought we would try it. We ate in the outside "garden" which was a beautiful setting for our first meal. Staff were friendly and efficient and the service was great. We...ordered the chicken wings and the chicken tenders to start, followed by bbq spare ribs and chicken fajitas.  The chicken starters were nicely cooked but had no additional seasoning, glazes or flavours. Both starters came with a side of the same ordinary bbq sauce that later arrived in a little bowl next to the ribs. It was simply plain but tender chicken. The fajitas were very mild and consisted of chicken, onions and red peppers with some sweetcorn in a tomato passata. The sauce was not in any way badly cooked or presented, it was just a little bland with no real spicy Mexican flavour.(yes I know, it's Poland, not Mexico, but a jalapeno or two and maybe some grated cheese wouldn't have gone amiss). When the ribs arrived, the meat was tender but as stated they were not glazed and the same bbq sauce as always was positioned separately next to them in a bowl. They came with chips and a fresh salad that had no dressing whatsoever. A rather bland meal. We finished off with an ice cream sundae which was huge and topped off the meal well.  All in all, the food was nice enough but I was not blown away by this restaurant and would not rush back on my next visit to Krakow. But if you want very simple, tasty and reasonably priced food it is more than adequate. More

We planned on eating in the outdoor section however it was full and we were given the option to wait 30+ minutes or go inside. We chose to go inside and I’m glad we did it is extremely misleading for outside it truly is a...hidden gem. It has quirky and clever layout and the food was absolutely beautiful the steak is a must and I would encourage anyone visiting Kraków to make time for this beautiful Restraunt and disagree with your instincts and sit inside rather than on the square the beautiful food served by the attentive and friendly staff will not disappoint.More

We visited for lunch on the main square and sat outside with the patio heaters. We ordered selection of starters including garlic bread, onion rings, chicken strips and chicken wings. Decent size portions and all delicious. We were so impressed by the food and service...that we returned for dinner the following night. Had a table inside, waiting staff were attentive and didn't wait long to be served. We all had starters, main courses including fajitas, burger and chicken dish plus tasty and generous desserts and including several soft drinks, bill was around £65 for all 4 of us. Great value for money without compromising on quality. Would recommend.More

Went here with my wife for a meal as it was recommended by a friend, we opted to sit outside in the covered/marquee area to dine. We were shown in by a polite young man who sat us close to a heater, the temperature was...just right ( I was concerned about it being cold but it wasn’t at all), he took our drinks order, beer & a wine then we ordered. I opted for the 20oz ribeye steak & my wife had the 8oz fillet. Came out & were great, mine was cooked medium & perfect. The wife’s fillet came in 2 smaller steaks ( bit disappointed, I’m a butchery manager so critical of meat) one was medium, the other one more well done ( please use 1 steak unless medallions) but still tasted good, lovely salads & a bowl of “premium” fries (they were ok). Only cost us about 200 zloties (£40 ish). Good experience, romantic outside, nice food. Give it a goMore

Interesting find. We stumbled upon this restaurant purely by accident, and after seeing how busy it was we decided to try it. The staff were amazing, couldn’t do anything more for us. But as we went at 6pm none of us were really that hungry...so we all opted for starters. I had the chicken soup which I thought I was going to the standard soup at every restaurant but in fact it was amazing, transported me back to my childhood it was that good. For those who are gluten free or celiac then the waiters do explain what you can have and what can be altered for you, they were faultless on their knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements.More

Hungry stomachs spontaneously called out for burgers and fries on a Sunday late afternoon. Unfortunately, we need to start this review with a minus as the hostess (who takes care of table seating from the inside was quite snobbish and arrogant from the very beginning)....Thankfully, our waitress, thank you Natalia, was very nice and paid attention to our table. She has a smile on her face at all time even though it was quite busy. The burger with fries and coleslaw was really good. The meat was delicious and well-done without being dry. We really liked the Wild West interior, however the music selection did not match the atmosphere which was unfortunate. The bathroom was pretty cool as well. It is in the small details that such a place wins on what it may lack in other categories.More

Visited here as I was in the mood for a good cut of beef and having read previous reviews decided on this establishment. There are many steak houses in Kraków and in fairness to them all including this restaurant some are more upmarket and some...lesser however I decided on Sioux as unlike the other steak houses, Sioux at least a few vegetarian options for my wife. Anyhow the steak, I went for the big steak (it's massive!) which was 99zł so roughly around £25 however for the price and quality this was excellent. Cooked to perfection! My wife enjoyed her vegetarian fajitas and we both enjoyed the large vodkas. Although situated on the main square some may think it's a bit a tourist trap however we were pleasantly surprised as to how good the food was. Service was excellent too. Albeit maybe a little dearer due to location and maybe not as Gaucho'esque as other steak houses but a great steak nonetheless and excellent value for money in a city that has a plethora of places to eat!More
