Butterfly S its an awesome movie! i reccomend reading the book first! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't care if it's a made for TV movie or not! If it sucks, IT sucks! The plot is super slow and lame. The movie in general is boring. Just a real snooze fest! 100% skip to something else. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review steve d A strong adaptation with good performances from Johnson and Bairstow. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great 90s teen thriller. Recently rewatched to see if it still holds up, and it certainly does. Great seeing Mario Lopez and Amy Jo Johnson as they were transitioning from their roles on kids shows to more mature content. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member First I want to correct the wrong information about the film....per Rotten Tomatos and listed next to the movie title it shows 1998, that should be 1997, it was also never released in theaters as it was a made for TV movie, it also is not ABC but NBC who released it, PM Entertainment was just one of the distributers for the VHS/DVD release in 2000 followed by Artisan Entertainment in 2003... The movie is a typical made for tv movie of course I am partial to it not only because at that age I loved Lois Duncan novels but because I was an extra in the scenes they shot at the high school (I own the DVD & love that at one point you can see me in the quad area & the locker they used was my bestfriends at the time & my locker was right next to that...anyone who was a junior or senior at Calabasas high while they were filming (2 days on a weekend) could be a extra & it was a blast seeing what goes in to making a movie (it was then I decided I wanted to be a executive producer just b/c that was who did most of the behind the scenes work) ... and though I didn't go on the 2nd day of shooting I found it so interesting (as I had friends who were there) the way they film scenes like in the gym, taking a small group of people and turning it into a full gym just with digital effects changing the way the looked... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member ***Due to the recent RT changes that have basically ruined my past reviews, I am mostly only giving a rating rather than a full review.*** Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
