What travelers are saying
- Seth GEddyville, IL27 contributionsThe family and I visited the battlefield, visitor center, and then drove up to the look out area. We then walked up the line of the Confederate cannon emplacements. All I can say is that I wish we were not just passing by! First off the grounds are very well maintained. There is a nice picnic area and hiking trails. We really wished we could have hiked and stayed longer but we were just passing through. We certainly plan on stopping in again and staying longer! The visitor center was great as was the gift shop.Written April 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Expattraveler100Sarasota, FL4,667 contributionsTook our 3 and 1 year old grandkids for 2 hours - best part for them was the play area. It’s reasonably priced to get in - free parking, lots to see and do and even has a fun large gift shop!Written December 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AndrewKennesaw, GA5 contributionsIts a great park in the area and always has plenty of people all the while having sufficient parking most of the time. Skatepark is always a huge draw and is a fun addition.Written February 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChiefMarietta, GA121 contributionsA wonderful place to visit with a family or by yourself.
You can spend 1/2 an hour or 1/2 of a day. You can really perfect your photo skills.
So much opportunity to see natures beauty. The art is an interesting addition.
I would recommend NOT wearing sandals. The paths are made of splintered slate and could really be bad on your feet but then you get to visit the other gem in Kennesaw called Kennestone Wellstar.Written April 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s not a bad thing but it can give you an idea to creativity of the brewers themselves. This is the case for the creative genius’ at Burnt Hickory. The beer names are eccentric but the flavor and quality aren’t lacking at all. Their Big Shanty Graham Cracker stout with cinnamon, honey, and brewed with real graham crackers is a surprise that makes you think of those times when you ate graham crackers as a kid. The cinnamon and honey flavors makes you feel like you are having a liquid graham cracker that’s so good. The Fab-Ale-s Of The Reconstruction Vol. 01 “Feeling Gravity’s Pull” is their Big Shanty Graham Cracker stout with a heavy dose of maple for kick for an awesome beer. The Didjits Blood Orange IPA is citrus bursting ipa for ipa lovers all around. Kid friendly no food $$Written May 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jason FSpring Hill, TN656 contributionsGreat place for outdoor tastings. Owners are very nice. Cocktails and bourbons are good but their coffee flavored bourbon is amazing. Do a flight and a few drinks and relax at a table on the lawn.Written October 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kelvin Shadewing3 contributionsI get that people usually go to malls for clothes, but good grief, we've got Kohl's for that. This place is over 80% fashion. Clothes, shoes, perfume, you name it. Anything that stands out is also far apart, meaning you'll have to walk a fair bit.
At least the food court is good. Would definitely recommend Mandarin Express. Very friendly employees, DELICIOUS sesame chicken. Tell them Kelvin sent you! (It won't do anything, I just wanna let them know they're being recommended. X3)Written March 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are limited bathrooms so be sure to go before you head to this trail.
There are some animals such as deer, rabbits, groundhogs, etc. I’ve seen some at dusk.
The trail goes by some industrial areas as well as the airport. There are bikes to rent. It is a nice little flat path for beginners level as far as hiking and biking.Written December 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is definitely a place that I will return to.Written July 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John MNew Port Richey, FL740 contributionsCheck out the current exhibit of contemporary modern art. It is very much worth the visit to the Zuckerman Museum of Art. There is also a very interesting quite exhibition. The museum is very well maintained and the students working there did a great job.Written December 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Douglas MAcworth, GA849 contributionsLots of people stop by this shop/museum curiosity to look back upon and get a taste of history -- the building itself is ancient (by American standards) and the owner fancies himself to have been a Rebel soldier/officer in a past life. The back store/museum has some interesting artifacts and occultic types of stuff that kind of irked me but, hey, it's not my place. I took my relatives to visit when they were in town from Colorado and MO. It's worth at least one visit if you are ever in the area.Written May 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dean LandecheAcworth, GA633 contributionsI stumbled on this museum on D-Day, 2017, while attending a corporate event. Taking time during lunch to walk through, I was impressed with the extent and detail of the collection. I've been back twice more now, and have found something new each time.Written March 11, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ronald SGeorgia71 contributionsPark is small but very nice and well maintained, my grandson loves it. It's in a safe area downtown and fairly easy to get to providing you do not have to wait on a long train.Written March 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - McKayla B2 contributionsDefinitely a fun time for birthdays, family events or a fun day out. My friends sons birthday party was handled so well by the staff! The park was rented out for the family for a few hours and the staff was incredibly helpful, kind and having fun with the kids. The GM was the best, his name started with an M. He took care of everything down to loading presents in the car for us. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.Written November 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
