Wallenstein Palace was built in 1630 for Albrecht von Wallenstein, who was the Duke of Mecklenburg and Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Forces during the Thirty Years’ War. Wallenstein only lived in it for one year before he was assassinated. It remained in the Wallenstein Family until 1945. After World War II, it housed various government offices. It’s now the home of the National Senate

Kampa Park is a lovely area of Mala Strana that's always a joy to visit, its not all about the David Cerney " Baby Statue's "as cool as they are as there's beautiful buildings, great views of the Vltava River and amazing restaurants and bars ,its peaceful, its wonderful to walk around, its an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of the Lesser Town ( Mala Strana ) and if you're planning a holiday to Prague its most definitely well worth checking out.

It's quite nice walking around here, away from the chaos of the tourists, and watching the peacocks and peahens live their everyday lives.

The Devil's Channel is a great stretch of the Vltava River that was created centuries ago to provide a sourse of water for this part of the city ,the only remaining wooden water wheel is found along this stretch of water ,its very photogenic and if you're in the area its most definitely well worth checking out.
