Biography

Kathleen Emily Bulkeley Williams was the daughter of Captain Robert Griffith Williams and Mary Anne Geale. She married Colonel Arthur Charles Wellesley, 4th Duke of Wellington, son of Major-General Lord Charles Wellesley and Augusta Sophia Anne Pierrepont, on 24 October 1872.

From 24 October 1872, her married name became Wellesley. As a result of her marriage, Kathleen Emily Bulkeley Williams was styled as Duchess of Wellington on 8 June 1900.^[1]

She died on 24 June 1927 at Apsley House, Hyde Park Corner, Mayfair, London, England. ^[2]

She was buried on 28 June 1927 at Stratfield Saye House, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.
