When Katherine Woodville Duchess of Buckingham was born in 1458, in Monmouthshire, Wales, her father, Sir Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers, was 53 and her mother, Jacquetta of Luxembourg Duchess of Bedford and Countess Rivers, was 43. She married Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham in 1465. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 18 May 1497, in Kimbolton, Herefordshire, England, at the age of 39, and was buried in Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.
