Meet Kate: Teacher, Parent, Leader
Teacher: Kate has dedicated her life to education. From over a decade of work as a history professor at MATC, to her service as a board member and communications director of the Wisconsin Indian Education Association, Kate has the EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE needed to provide EVERY student with an excellent education, no matter your race, income, or background.
Parent: Like many of us, Kate wants her daughter and our students to receive the best education possible. As the parent of a Webster Middle School student, Kate has a real stake in seeing our district excel now and in the years to come.
Leader: From her work as an educator, to her heritage as a member of the Oneida Nation, Kate knows what it takes to build consensus, make sure that every voice is heard, and to do what’s best for our students and our community.
