Karren Brady Biography

(British Business Executive, TV Personality and Vice-Chairman of ‘West Ham United F.C.’)

Birthday: April 4, 1969 (Aries)

Born In: Edmonton, London, England

Karren Brady, also known as Baroness Brady, is a British sports executive, TV personality, newspaper columnist, and author. She became the first woman to be appointed as the managing director of an 'English Premier League' team when she took over the reins of 'Birmingham City.' She is the present vice-chairman of the football club 'West Ham United.' Brady's journey as a sports executive has not been easy, as she has struggled with sexism in the business. She has thus been a prominent advocate of women’s causes in male-dominated businesses. Brady made 'Birmingham City' one of the most successful teams in the league. Her achievements as a football club executive have earned her the title of "the first lady of football." Brady's TV credits include the 'BBC One' series 'The Apprentice.' She has served as a small business ambassador to the U.K. government and has been associated with organizations such as 'Mothercare,' 'Sport England,' 'Kerrang!,’ and 'Channel 4.' Brady is a public and motivational speaker, too, and has authored books and novels on women empowerment.
